I think it's one of her better ones. Very to the point and funny. And I'm glad her daughter is so smart and is still able to have so much fun with it after she realizes she has nothing to fear. I know as a child I was very relieved that no one was sneaking into our house at night while I slept.

I ponder the same scenario as an atheist. I wonder how to bring fantasy into my child's life without lying to her, and I figure she will just have to figure out my sarcastic face eventually. Then I could make the stories even more ridiculous to teach her that everyone has their own set of beliefs, and no one can completely discount or verify them. She will be a great critical thinker, I'm sure. Fantasy will be something only useful in art and games.
