For years I don't think I ever saw a shovel pass work in the NFL then Patrick comes in and does them, throws across the field and throws nobody else can do. It's impressive.
@0megaJB, Patrick Effing Mahomes did everything in this league that can been done as a QB. No look, shovel, long passes, keeping the plays alive, rushing when needed, clutch when needed and the list goes on and on. It's just a matter of time to break other records. Yet, haters call him overrated and put other QBs over him. SMH..
Andy Reid ran the shovel pass in Philly with every QB, McNabb and Westbrook was the most notable duo. That being said, it does seem like he uses it more often in KC
Mahomes is only on his 8th season, he could literally retire tomorrow and still be a first ballot HOFer. He just does things that no other QB could get away with. Not a Chiefs fan, just someone who can recognize and appreciate greatness.
Th SB loss to TB is what it is. The one thing that I find the most frustrating about that entire game is the drop by Williams in the endzone. Mahomes is literally throwing it while he is horizontal to the ground and throws a perfect spiral 30 yds and hits the dude in the facemask. If that catch is made, it would probably be remembered as the greatest individual play in SB history.
@TheRoyal30 There were 4 passes dropped in or around the end zone. Plus, both tackles were very inexperienced. Mahomes had surgery 2 days after SB as he injured his foot a few weeks before & acquired Turf Toe, a highly painful injury.
As a chiefs fan I always hated the pats in the midst of their dynasty but I always had the utmost respect for these guys. Now being in the same spot I realize how silly it is to hate the dynastic team. Love this show
I don't think people hate the chiefs like they hated the pats. People hate the way people talk about certain players, and the general "can do no wrong" attitudes of some people in the media that really push the narrative.
I love hearing guys that played at a high level with Brady say what I’ve said for years it looks different but what Brady and Mahomes have most in common is their both clutch killers on the field
I agree that those post season losses showed pat what he was missing in his game. He taught him how to win in the post season, and no other quarterback has that skill right now.
Man, these guys are fun to listen to (but were probably hell to play against). I agree with the Freak designation for Patrick Mahomes, because I think he's demonstrated the ability to succeed in basically any situation and make every kind of play. He's gone to and won Super Bowls with elite offenses and subpar defenses and with elite defenses and subpar offenses. He's made improbable comebacks and had to stave off opposing comebacks. He's thrown all manner of 50-yard bombs, shovel passes, no-look passes, off-platform, across his body, left-handed, behind the back, and hit receivers consistently. His pocket awareness and scrambling ability are basically unmatched in the NFL right now, and when he runs he's just fast enough and elusive enough to get exactly where he needs to go. He's always motivated to win and never fazed by anything, and he has changed the way NFL offenses _and_ defenses play.
You were both sure handed. Welker, amandola, before you. I love when two greats praise the chief qb. Your buddy brady was a great announcer on tv this week. Your fun to listen to.
I went to that AFC Championship game in 2018 and I had $100 bucks on the Chiefs. That INT happened to seal the game and my wife and I were jumping with joy and then we heard the official calling Dee Ford offsides. Tom had 2 INT's and that would have been 3. Ended up with a rating of 77. Patrick had 3 TD's 0 INT's and a 117 rating. He had 30 seconds to score and ended up tying the game to force overtime. The difference in that game was the Pats had the 7th ranked D and Chiefs had the trash 24th. Bob Sutton got fired after the game because they were so pitiful. It was a blessing and a curse, because if Bob had stayed and Spags hadn't got hired, there probably would have been no Chiefs dynasty... but damn... I would have loved for Patrick the first year starter MVP to have beaten the seasoned vet Tom. You guys owe Dee Ford a case. Anyways, here's Pat Mahomes hour long playoff highlights: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-54XZuSVKizY.html
Its so cool to hear the past dynasty talk about the chiefs like they're the patriots. I was about to switch teams because of Alex Smith and then what happens? Mahomes ends up being the most talented qb to walk on the field. Forget what anyone else says about him. Game recognizes game. These guys used to beat us so much and then the pat dynasty fell and the chiefs jump from being mediocre at best to a class above the best of the rest. Huge respect to gronk, edelman, but even most to Brady - the current goat!
God bless Patrick giving glory to God. So humble. HUMILITY IS UTILITY. He is on track towards possibly 10 titles. 😮 He is the player that Andy Reid deserves. Good seed=Great harvest
LOVE you guys. Buc vs. KC in Tampa. don't forget, the night before the game, Reid's son hits that van (while impaired) and seriously injured a child. i love gronk and brady (living in tampa at the time). But the Chiefs arrived in Tampa with that lingering. SO glad the Bucs won but it was still a sad issue. Coach Reid son goes to prison.
I love the HEY DUDE shirt. It was a terrible show that I didn’t realize was terrible til I was older. Whether Gronk knows anything about the show or not, I love seeing it.
He has the best chance I think ever and a blessing to be able to watch Tom Brady/patriots set the bar that was thought to be unreachable and have right away someone who’s even in the convo right after is lucky for a spectator Also a Bucs fan so no bias… well maybe a lil for Brady😁
I thought he did a pretty good job. Very few expect him to be an English major so ... On the other hand I probably would not have asked him to because I wouldn't have wanted to embarrass him but I thought he had no cause for that.
U, Ninja's ROCK...But Big Bruh...PLEASE be "STRAPPED"...You yall TOO DAMN Big ta wear those Shorts bruh ..I'm Straight as STRAIGHT gets.. but COME ON BRUH😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tom threw a pick and they called a bullshit neutral zone, infraction on dee ford he didn’t even effect the play they gave Tom and you guys that game consider yourselfs lucky mahomes didn’t win that game in 2018 💯💪🖕😪 go chiefs

I think he ran the wrong route or dropped the ball and then Ward picked it. I can’t believe the fucking refs gave you guys another Super Bowl and it was so boring the Rams versus the patriots such a boring Super Bowl. It should’ve been the Chiefs versus the Saints that blown call in the Saints game was horrendous as well, that year was bad for football.
