Rule explainer: If a player is injured, there is a 3 minute clock to allow that player enough time to determine if they are able to continue. If the injured player can not continue after the 3 minute clock, the game will continue in a 1v1. If the injured player at any time is able to continue playing, the game will then go back to a 2v2. When a 1v1 is happening, the non-injured team has full decision making in who competes in the 1v1. This prevents any incentive for a team to fake an injury in order to get a preferred 1v1 matchup. Do you all think this is fair? If not, how would you change it?
not fair in a girl-boy based team and you know this for a fact. stupid ass rule in the first place. can't fix what's already broken. postpone the game so it can resume as it was meant to be - 2v2! bum ass creator league clowns
Players are getting injured because of the poor officiating. You guys have to set harder rules and stick to them so that players don't feel the need to force things which lead to injuries.
Why aint nobody talking about Julian throwing shoulders & jumping into people to get the foul calls. From steph not letting jenna land, to illegal screens, elbow being thrown, This game was horrendous. Steph is going to cause someone a serious injury, She shouldn't be playing in this at all.
@@lordsaucington8589 yes there is nothing wrong with initiating contact as basketball is a contact sport but at 12:00 Julian saw the ref blow his whistle and looked over at him to see what the call was and then still continued to jump into raye causing him to get hurt
They need to suspend steph. She’s literally creating injuries that can lead to a person never walking again. She’s is to dangerous and Jenna is right about expressing her feelings and not wanting to get hurt and land correctly
Yeah that's crazy. They need to look at the tape and have a talk with her fr. They're all RU-vidrs or whatever at the end of the day, no one needs to get hurt, this isn't the NBA finals or anything.
Nah bro she wasnt jumping into her at all.. Her dirty ass was legit hip checking her out the air lol thats the dirtiest most obvious foul I have ever seen and the refs called none of it thats actually wild they need to replace those refs immediately
This match not gonna lie was terrible, Stephania was a walking Hack with additional moving screens. Julian was mouthy which should have ultimately resulted in him getting a Tech as he literally told a ref "what you lookin" at or something along those lines and the final 1v1 was just super cotroversial. Jenna was talking but I feel like she is justified for her talk because she was just pointing out Stephania's lack of cleanliness while playing which resulted in Raye being rag dolled a lot all while Julian keeps throwing his entire forearm into his opponent offensively and defensively.
@Mercer Sills TJass and Carson talked about those screens and travels that Julian had. They caught three of them before the refs saw the one blatant one. Then they didn't call another until the 1st game. Carson also really needs to go get some help, maybe from Jenna or someone who knows how to work with tall post players. She just needs like 2 solid post moves from someone and nail them so that it just becomes Muscle memory, where she does it that same way every time in the paint, and then she really would be solid for a 2v2 setting because of her size.
Julian is not capable of scoring or shooting off the dribble He was taking advantage of the illegal screens and having wide open three-point shots That's not going crazy... I will give him credit he did hit most of his shots I don't know what his percentage was but he shot very well when alone... YPK Raye shredded that kid and also shot 79 percent... Newman doesn't play defense and was fouling as well.. horrible job on the refs part
Steph went out sorry...in a win. Illegal screens and running away from the 1 v 1 is scary to me. The people want Jenna vs Steph and that's what we got lmao
This comment caps off everything. She can’t talk and tends to do nothing but foul and stand around. And no, I don’t want to hear that I’m or we’re hating and we want to be her, just look at their first game together and especially this game. This man Julian threw up twice, he’s burning way more energy than he needs too cause of her
I don’t necessarily know if he’s really as good as he seemed because a lot of his shots were wide open since she was setting a legal screens that didn’t get called and Jenna was not near him and we try to run up last minute but he already have a wide-open shot and his shot is pretty good he has a nice clean three but if he was being guarded without illegal screens I don’t know if he would be making all of those shots
He's straight speed not even handles speed and a three ........he could have passed to steph and moved off the ball for the return ......... just wants to do it himself kid hasn't learnt the game as yet
definitely the refs swallowed their whistles this game in response to cash's frustration my god, julian is too tuff, bro was playing 1v2 out there against a athletic freak of nature and one of the best female hoopers I ever seen and got the dub I loved Jenna's trash talk and intensity man respect to her, I could tell that steph was prob talkin her up with no game to back it up before the game so Jenna had to shut her up cuz Jenna usually a chill girl, loved to see this side of her she is a warrior😈 this was such a good game, and yeh props to the refs for letting them boys and girls play, also steph trucking ypk is pure comedy
@@714ever8 oh nah steph was an absolute hack, Jenna def had every right to be angry Wish we got Jenna vs steph in the last 1v1 so we can see her get exposed, she cannot guard Jenna
They should just run the last game back. That was a mess. From Steph being terrified to 1v1 Jenna to Steph throwing elbows and setting illegal screens to complaining that was horrible. Smh
@@kylin5902 she's kind of like the Pistons Isiah Stewart in that regard. Everytime Isaiah Stewart, intends to set a pick, he always gets called for an offensive foul, BECAUSE HE DOESN'T STAND STILL UNTIL THE GUARD MOVES PASSED HIM 🤦😂😂😂😂 STEPH DOES THE SAME THING, SHE JUST DOESN'T REALLY GET CALLED FOR IT THAT MUCH. 😂😂😂😂
Naw y’all say the 1v1 ain’t fair but if we being honest Julian being teamed up with Steph ain’t fair so I think it’s fair that Julian finally was able to have an advantage for once. And even then he still 1v1’d arguably the best female hooper so gg. Just look at Game 3 they basically double team’d Julian lol
Julian vs Jenna should tell us just how much better men are than women in competitive sports. Jenna is physically bigger than Julian, she played college ball, yet Julian made her look like easy work. Also, Stephania has been exposed in this tournament. She's just dead weight, Julian is putting in all the effort.
I havent even watched the entire game yet and wtf. The foul at 2:38 by Stephania is dangerous. That kinda play could've been career ending depending on how Jenna landed. All real hoopers know, no matter how competitive or heated it gets, never undercut someone. Crazy HOH didn't check her right there.
It's what happens when you let a tiktoker who thinks she can hoop actually try and play an organized game. there ends up being no game to be played lol
Yeah she needed to be checked immediately. That’s one of the most dangerous fouls in basketball, taking out someone’s legs with your ass because you are mad. If she can’t compete get her out of here
Jenna is really good. Will be interesting to see her against the much taller Carson. As for Raye him and Julian are competing for the 2nd best male hopper out there. They’re both really nice. Sadly, I think this is already over. I can’t see anybody stopping Friga.
raye is not competing anybody hes easily the 2nd best. I can def see him and jenna going up and possibly even winning against friga too. This game just had terrible refs and 2 players (julian and stpeh) that were basically complaining and fouling the entire match.
it’s not wild. Julian playing puts them in the best position to win. If nothing was on line, I’d understand but they playing for money, so they gonna do whatever it takes
Not julian just steph. I understand his frustration but he probably mad that his temate cant do anything offensively and is basically a walking screen which leads to a double in the paint.
@@yaboi_othaeron1291 no Julian is too he kept complaining over and over about the refs and saying that everyone’s out to get them even though they were calling calls that actually made sense he was mad that they were calling out staff for continuing to towel people and he felt people a few times and they would just get so mad even though he is actually following people also I would say Julian and Steph are the villains and Cash
bruh this game was absolutely crazy... Steph's brick wall picks and not letting jenna land is so dirty..Julian is crazy... did he really score every single point?? he really 2v1ed them...then a guy vs girl at the end? OMG...
Bro she can’t say y’all gonna say I didn’t do nun with I don’t think she had a SINGLE POINT. In two games, does she even had 7 points. She can’t talk if you handed in Jenna landing spot most of the time and set a couple of moving screens in raye. Julian can talk all he want
@@Fundsoffbtc bruh steph was throwing elbows at his rib, julian was speed boosting into rayes back like he has no control of his body, come on it was obvious raye was getting hurt☠️
Bro stephanie was setting illegal picks almost every play, she was throwing straight elbows so raye couldn't get past her☠️ 20:56 look at how steph sets that screen but slow it down you can clearly see she threw her elbow into raye bruh😐
New rule recommendations 1. Get new refs who will actually enforce the rules 2. If a player is out on injury then the remaining player should verse the play of the same gender
In this tournament you can tell the lack of effort from some creators and it’s disappointing just compete at a safe and high level and have fun it’s so simple❗️
Ok, I'll be honest. Jenna is a baller, and she'd 100% cook me any day of the week. But the reason the 2 on 2 teams have one guy and one girl are so they're equal. If it was Cel/Pika vs Friga/Lolo, and Cel gets injured, is Friga vs Pika fair? Jenna vs Julian is not at all how the one v one should be played. Fix this for future games
So you think it’s more fair that people can fake injuries now to get the 1v1 matchup they want. If that was the case, cash could have faked an injury and let Bree win the game for him.
@@jalenupnext_ I think OP is saying change the rules, directed at the creators of the event, not the players. Yes if there is a loophole, like guys being able to 1v1 girls then players should exploit it.
@@kevingarcia4966 It doesn’t matter if Jenna’s taller when Julian is way faster than her. He makes it down to the basket before she does. And then when she plays defense a little farther away, he pulls up cuz he has the room
Nahhh ion like that game, props to Newman for scoring all those points but damn that’s messed up,Newman flopped every play when he went up for a lay up,he hid behind screens an got mad when a foul or some was called like this literally how Steph got injured last game, on top of that Steph fouling Jenna every shot not letting her land, an throwing All these moving screens, not sayin rae n Jenna didn’t foul to but damn the BS that Steph an Newman did is outrageous
@@mahaawaryaa2871 could honestly say the same thing wit Tjass then, his Carson talk asf but lately her defense hasn’t been the best nor a lot of shots falling, does tjass hide behind a screen tho? Lmao no that’s jus how Newman plays bro
I don’t understand people saying it’s unfair that Julian 1v1’d Jenna when everyone says Jenna is better than most male hoopers. And not only that but where’s that energy when bringing up these teams? They set up Julian to fail and I’m glad he stood his ground with money on the line. Everyone saying the 1v1 between them unfair but stay quiet when people bring up he literally has to 2v1 every game lol that’s like Cash faking an injury every game and letting Bree Cook the female hoopers so idk but Steph did look scary fs
She was snapping tho… Steph ass n was scared to do shi against her, fouled her every shot, threw elbows n moving screens,Jenna was cooking steph don’t sit here an lie
@@gelooo2x nah she definitely wasn’t snapping lmao. She scored damm near all her points off of open dump downs from raye because the defensive collapsed
I can’t hate on Julian taking the 1v1 against Jenna when you look at that 3rd game they damn near double teamed Julian and didn’t even worry about Steph lmao.
@@wop2784 I mean if we being fr every game from Jenna trying to guard Steph from behind saying “She’s not a threat forward” to them leaving her wide open in the start of Game 3😭😭
Most frustrating 2v2 of all time. The refs actually bailed out steph and Julian too many times. Illegal picks, giving in to crybaby Julian. Horrible basketball This was BAD
Exactly his next pass will be his first it’s easy to see why he didn’t make it in real ball a mini me point guard that won’t pass not a lot of coaches dying for that
I think if it’s 1v1 with an injury. It should be one possession so if cash playing a girl or someone short he can’t post and get rapid rebounds +put backs that’s the fairest way without same gender
