The "vast"ness once again aided by the number of repeated sections in this piece. This being one of my earlier transcriptions, if I were to revisit this piece today, I think I might do some arrangement during each of the repeats - there are long sections where the piano plays mostly if not completely unaccompanied that I think could benefit by having some other instruments playing. It may be that the composer was not comfortable with larger orchestral works - as far as I know this is her only work to feature more than 2 performers. Almost everything else is either for solo keyboard, or keyboard with just one accompaniment - usually voice (which could still be solo, as one can certainly sing while playing the piano). There's at least one with keyboard + violin, but nothing else with an orchestra or even a small chamber ensemble.
