Julie blev holdt som kæledyr i den første del af sit liv, og hun var stærkt afhængig af mennesker, da hun blev reddet og flyttede ind på rehabiliteringscentret Nyaru Menteng.

Why Ronald ?? Why in the name of all things decent, do you seek out EVERY video that has anything to do with these innocent creatures ? Just to bash something that can't speak for itself, or defend it's right to exist ?? I just do not get it. But then, I don't understand the mentality of mass murderers....nor do I want to. I know I've set myself up for one of your unintelligent keyboard lashings, but have at it. At least it will give you something to do besides concentrate on these beautiful creations.

They are so sad. They just hold on to each other for comfort. Are there no foster orangutans moms out there? The little one was so cute taking branches to 'nest' in the basket. Shame on mankind for making these orphans. All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing. Control human repopulation, don't use palm oil, and be aware where your new things come from. Remember less humans means more room for everyone and everything..

She looks sad, but at the end, she looks and acts angry. That other cute baby wanted to touch her and play, and Julie almost bit her hand off. The handler had to restrain her. She may grow up into a bitter, troublesome ape. I just hope for her sake she doesn’t bite a human!

@@JenelleD12 Sounds like you are an expert, thanks for contributing. Maybe you have insight on what happened to Julie. I have looked everywhere for updates on her. She is no longer on the BOS site, and can no longer be adopted. Aside from this video, there is no other mention of her anywhere. She has completely vanished. Sadly, she may not have made it.

Thank you to all the sanctuaries for taking all the orangutans to your sanctuary where it will never get counted. Because it’s not wild. Thank you for keeping them on the endangered species list when they are anything but, that gives the sanctuaries the monopoly on the orangutans. That’s the Jane Goodnot business model.
