I've watched quite a number of your reviews where you got pissed off by other road users but this one is on a whole new level🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 These Cape Tonians are messing up with Julz🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Juliet is my road rage soul mate 🤣 Its like looking in a mirror listening to hear rage out and cuss at the other drivers. As a fellow Capetonian I feel your pain and I swear people are driving worse since returning back to work
Yes, this Toyota Rumion model is a rebadge from the Suzuki Ertiga and other models such as the Toyota Starlet / Glanza from the Suzuki Baleno and the Toyota Urban Cruiser base on the Suzuki Vitara Brezza. This collaboration between Toyota and Suzuki also applies to Toyota models in the Suzuki brand and also to get hybrid technology. Suzuki Swace rebadge from Toyota Corolla, Suzuki Across PHEV rebadge from Toyota RAV4. Of course, in other countries such as Southeast Asia, Toyota has released other models from its sister company Daihatsu. Small MPV Models (7 Seater): - Toyota Veloz 1.5 L with TSS - Toyota Avanza 1.3L & 1.5 L with TSS - Daihatsu Xenia 1.3L & 1.5 L with ASA Compact Small SUV (7 Seater & 5 Seater) - Toyota Rush 1.5 4 Cylinder N/A - Toyota Raize 1.0 3 Cylinder Turbo with TSS - Toyota Raize 1.2 3 Cylinder N/A - Daihatsu Terrios 1.5 4 Cylinder N/A - Daihatsu Rocky 1.0 3 Cylinder Turbo with ASA - Daihatsu Rocky 1.2 3 Cylinder N/A
Yeah Juliet I feel your road rage, I'm trying to adopt a Zen attitude to traffic life. Still find myself slipping every now and then though, its tough.
I am currently in the market for a large family vehicle. This as well as the Honda Br-v and the Mitsubishi Xpander was initially on the list. Then I started looking into their safety ratings and they were woeful. A polo offers higher safety ratings. I’ve realised that you can’t buy a decent safe family vehicle in this country for less than R500 000 anymore. I currently have a 2013 Vw Touran and I have no idea what I am going to replace it with. It really bothers me that we are okay with having these subpar vehicles shoved down our throats.
hi...Ive worked in a Toyota factory, and i know that Toyota parts are supplied to partnered companies or companies partly owned by Toyota (e.g. Daihatsu)...or sometimes even larger assemblies (e.g. Toyota's KR family engines are in some Daihatsus), and given Toyota also owns some of Suzuki, i wonder if this also applies to Suzuki (to some degree)? And always for such partnerships, Toyota deploys staff to "Partner" companies / suppliers...to work very closely and hands on, to implement the Toyota Production System and quality standards ( i was one of them for some time) Also, having managed Quality control for Toyota components/cars...i can certainly say, that for Toyota to have put their badge on this car, ...it has certainly passed the strict quality standards...so its not a simple "just put a Toyota Badge on it" so its not as simple as just saying its a "rebadged Suzuki"! tx
Before Toyota and BMW partnered and the new Supra / Z4 saw the light, Toyota placed BMW on terms, telling them to sort out their reliability problems. I can only assume that they did as Toyota is extremely serious about their reliability reputation.
People buying the more expensive Toyota is clear evidence of blind loyalty. Did people even test drive other car brands, or just take it that its a Toyota and that's all they want.
I don't know if you have the same opinion or not, but I think buying this "Toyota" is just plain dumb. Yeah it has a push to start, a touch screen and a rear camera, but I think it not having electronic stability control is a big, big miss, given the fact that even the equivalent Avanza has it. Just hope that the newly-redesigned Avanza would arrive in South Africa as well.
Love your reviews. With regards to annoying drivers you should try driving in Lansdowne, Athlone, kenilworth etc yellow lanes are extra space on the road, red lights have fuckall meaning whatsoever. Safe following distance se moor, if there is an inch of a gap it's a welcome invite for a taxi to just snub right In without warning. Lol yeah hey I cud go on . But back to the point fantastic review
Dear every car company. Can we PLEASE have wood trim options. They can look so beautiful. I'm not a fan when one car company just puts a new body on top of another but almost every car company does it these days so... meh. PS enjoy your review and if possible in the future it would be nice to see you do a sum up standing next to the car as a way to end the video
It is wrong to encourage bad behaviour on the road. No need to be impatient, swear and shout while driving. It si always the fault of the other one but I am sure that if you drive considerate you will avoid most incidents which always seem to happen to you.
Im beginning to think toyota is playing on the consumers just being really gullible and its been working so what does that say about the consumer?....mmmmmmm
The Indian version has Innova crysta inspired front grille, and interiors are beige just like the Ertiga. Build quality is pathetic in both these cars.
Juliet you should not do car reviews . You mumble and stutter your words , you say a lot but actually says nothing. Watching this has absolutely taught me nothing about this car.
First Creta-rival codenamed D22 will come, will be made in Toyota‘s plant (the same plant in which the Camry is assembled), Rumion will maybe or maybe not come to India.
