I get what you mean about the practicality of sitting high in a van. The Toyota Sienna is a fantastic van and extremely comfortable. No one NEEDS that many seats but it's just so nice to sit up high, have a low belt line and ride in comfort.
Yes. Agreed. Kombi are best when you have more than 2 kids. Suvs still have 5 seats, kombis/Caravelle/v class etc are 5 seats and up. Worthwhile for traveling with fam.
Agree with everything, except the value for money. The modern kombi's (and even the Caravell) gives the impression that it is a utility van with some carpets added. The old ones (80's and 90's) felt like they were built as family vehicles first.
I think the Transporter is the only version where you can claim tax against as it is essentially a panel van with options. I like that it can look just like a Kombi but with perks.
Great girl!! Good to know you grew up in these. I must say, you look at home behind the wheel. Not that I do not believe you. Plus you need to be a good driver to handle them.
