It's become well known that young people across Africa are thirsty for change, and rightfully so. I wonder if older people feel the same way but are a silent minority unaccustomed to expressing dissatisfaction in the public square. Social and political changes occurring on the continent are fascinating. My hope is that the people are in control of that change. Thanks for this report.

If Ghana was of no importance time would not be wasted on selling the initiative to their population. Soldiers would be sought from Gambia and Malawi instead.

@@BonsuBigWhale Ghana is important but it does not walk the walk.....poor leadership in real terms of value chain for any of mineral assets Ghana has.....no battery factory for the lithium little refinement for the oil but not adding real value your still beggars in real terms......

Honorable Malema is a great man.Am very happy he came to Ghana but deeply sad he couldn't do what he stands for.I wish we have only 20 men and women like him Iin our Mother continent.They will make sure every country stands on her own. If South Afrika elects Malema, he should put his money where his mouth is and pledge to duplicate Ghana’s Right of Abode and pathway to citizenship policies in South Afrika as well. He can make the call for other Afrikan countries, Naija, Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda, to also do so, but he would have the power to make it happen in his own country. The Diaspora will benefit from the additional option..

Ghana doesnt have Right To Abode or a Path to Citizenship... Ghana is good at talking big game but has not a single PROCESS in place - I have plenty peers in Ghana that have been there 30+ years and JUST NOW getting citizenship as a money grab to include the latest plea for reparations - At no point is Ghana doing anything streamlined and efficiently as it regards diasporans (descendants of the enslaved survivors)

@@ShayTBD Ghana has had the right of abode policy for 1/2 a decade. It is a pathway to citizenship, NOT automatic citizenship. There is no country on earth that just hands out citizenship like candy. NO country is going to extend auto citizenship to a population that could just as easily eclipse its own. That is not how it works. But Malema is talking good in his speech. Getting the claps and cheers for same. So he should have no issue bringing his policy advocation for his country’s charity to begin at home. The diaspora will appreciate the South Afrikan option.

@@BonsuBigWhale Not sure any1 mentioned handing out anything - But what you make mention of is basic trivial immigrations marred by officers that sit around all day making up personal appointments aside eating fufu & waakye asking for dashing every five minutes or they stall your paperwork - Not a single person I've met in Ghana from the past 15 years and sometimes longer has gotten their citizenship ship as part of any "path to citizenship" scheme or any accommodations with "rite/right to abode" except (less than 300 people) within the last 6 years as a PR stunt... All else have had to wait the same dilapidated time or longer as dictated by the STANDARD shamble ridden immigration policy on the books which has... Even within the 3 media frenzied president initiated citizenship issuances along with the 2019 YOR & ongoing BTR - Plenty of this people are STILL waiting for passports and their spouses and children are still in limbo... I'm not a fan of Malema, any politician or politrix in general - What I know is Ghana has no Processes in place - if it did I would have gone through it or at least started the process... but the people nor the government value itself enough for me to further consider once I saw the writing on the wall and the fine print of the so called PTC, RTA, YOR & BTR that are merely money hungry - all are just marketing slogans which leaves people with a stack of meaningless paperwork begging for signatures while they watch a$ians & arabians walk in offices empty handed and out with passports and business operating licenses... Get your story together - I know a lady who JUST left har business in central region after 30+ years and moved to another african nation where they have a real PROCESS that is less than 6yrs and it is all initiated online and at ANY of its corresponding gov offices with NORMAL payment systems and actual ACCOUNTABLE people (that are in their offices with their shoes on, on time, DAILY (not claiming sick or other random unaccountable absence and being a single point of failure at the same time)) and milestones that are LEGAL and tangible throughout - I can barely keep water or electricity on in Ghana much less do a government service outside of Accra...

@@BonsuBigWhale - If there are Southern Africans that have documented DNA results matching tribes of that region Im sure there will be policy in place to incorporate them into citizenry - Descendants of those who survived the mostly WESTERN African transatlantic Holocaust are still begging the AU & ECOWAS and other African nations (we (I) have documented proof of relation (whether it is the few with ship logs, census info & names or the even fewer who have tribal DNA records) for legal recognition & documentation! From Guinea to Angola, we cant even get a subdiplomatic passport from the AU as general african descended...

@@BonsuBigWhale Ghana has plenty paperwork that it doesnt PRACTICE once you understand that you like many Ghanaians will stop spewing baseless nonsense that folks out here in the street are struggling trying to piece together... Those are LIP SERVICE mottos that have little to no legal framework or procedure or method of execution behind and no accountability to speak of Let's not mentioned are NOT acknowledged or taken seriously regionally or globally... Ghana also has a free grade school order and an ELevy policy, plant a million trees, flooding policy, no more Dumsor, Stop Galamsey policy, clean your frontage sanitation policy... How are those working out for the nation? Shall I go on about the POLICIES Ghana TALKS ABOUT or the ACTIONS & RESULTS I know, experience and see in reality?

The fact that you’ve a major political party representatives makes this a political event. Arise Africa should be seen as apolitical so this is disappointing. Malema has always been a Pan-African and it’s educational for the youth to listen to him.

What's disappointing? I only stated that I am not affiliated with any political party. This event was certainly political in the discussion
@IvyProsper

Actually I just re-read your message and I get what you said. You were saying that Arise Africa should be neutral and not aligned with any political party. They should just be a voice for the youth and not for a certain party.

He is sponsored by Globalist entities such as Soros Open Society Foundation and Lord Renwick’s Chatham House, UK Royal Institute of International Affairs. Malema is a stooge agent for the NWO. Many of his policy talking points are straight from the template of his external sponsors.
