I have a friend that worked as professional landscaping. He told me, if you want the professional results, get the professional products, not sold at big box stores.
BYD been a minute my brother. Salute on another great video! Double Dark is the truth it works well. Just got mine down a few days ago and it's Military Green. I walk outside and just Salute it; my wife just smiles shaking her head! Lmao! Good Stuff!
Even a drought can't can't stop A man who know his shhhhhhh lol.. knowledge is always power. A lawn is like everything else in life, you get out of it what you put in it. 👊
I mix this one into the granular rotation every year … this is probably my favorite granular product. If it had a little potassium I would never buy anything else. Great fertilizer.
New subbie! I love in West Atlanta and your videos are gonna help me so much with my builder installed sod. It’s all over the place right now three months post close and was never green. Some rectangles are perfect and lush and others are just plain dry and dead lol Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I live Southern Louisiana. St Augustine lawn. I use flag ship 24-0-6 and stress blend in the winter. Flag ship is the best fertilizer I’ve ever used. I plan on trying out Double Dark in October. Very excited!
I can remember back in the 1970’s 10 10 10 would darken your grass but what they sell today doesn’t do anything. It’s like they took the chemicals or ingredients out of a lot of fertilizer? Even turf builder doesn’t green like it use to. I haven’t tried Double Dark but I’m going to try it now.
I was using scots fertilizers for years on my lawn. But since I have watched bermuda grass central, Im really loving the yard mastery fertilizers and switching to them. Thanks BYD!
Man. That sucks that you've had a drought BYD 😢. I have been getting steady rain for the past few weeks over here in Barrow County thankfully. Your yard is looking 🔥!
Did the Flagship last month and Double Dark after the 4th with the YardMastery micro green. One of my neighbors asked how is it so green 😂. One neighbor has fescue and was saying, it’s only green for a few months, I think he is being a hater😂.
I’m going to kill my fescue grass off next Spring. I’m going to switch to Bermuda grass. Going to follow your change in order to gain some knowledge about this type of grass. Great videos.
Ah you’re missing the inground pool with jacuzzi! Haha your house is beautiful man I planted some redbuds around my property, there beautiful trees when they blossom
I’m going to try this. I have a nasty brown spot in the middle of my yard I can’t revive. I don’t think this is meant to help that but at least everything else around it will be green!
I'm trying the hydretain and double dark because of your videos. I put down the hydretain yesterday, tomorrow after I mow I'll put down the double dark. I only have like 300 square feet of grass but I still take pride in it. I've currently got the best looking grass on the street, it's now time double that
New subscriber here! I actually live in WA state but I live in the southeast portion and it’s not unheard of for a lot of us to grow Bermudagrass lawns (even if we don’t want to) we have really hot summers here. But I’ve never bothered to take care of it until this year so still learning. All the products and care and advice around here is geared towards treating Bermuda as a weed. But my lawn is 99% Bermuda, I want to take care of it. Still goes dormant in the fall. I’ve never bothered to overseed with a cool season but considering it. Since my weather is juts a bit different than down south, what kind of average temperatures am I waiting for to see to start over-seeding with cool season? Thanks!!
Dude, you gotta stop making your neighbors cry and lose sleep at night!!!😢 *_NOT ONE_* of the lawns on your street looks anywhere even close to yours!!! It looks like you're living in Seattle and your neighbors are living in the Arizona desert or something!!! Lol 🤠✌️ well done crushing thy neighbor!!
Did you say in the video that you dyed the pine straw?? Didn't see link for it ... what brand did you use if you did? Thank you for another video. Press on in the good work sir 👍
putting out my DD tomorrow after I cut! What's the dust you used for that ant pile? Thinking about lining my fence line with some as neighbors don't treat their yards much like I do for insects and I saw a couple ants the other day. I normaly use ortho ant kill granules but that's generally only when I actually have ant pile to put it on/around.
Thank you! So much for helping me. Let me get back to watching the video on how to apply the pre-emergent and weed for lawns. I want to make sure I don't mess up. Thank you again. 😊
BYD - am learning a lot about how to care for my Bermuda grass lawn in NC, have some Flagship arriving today that I’ll hold off on putting down until Aug/Sept. it’s going to be in the 90’s for next couple weeks. Is it too late for me to apply Double dark (16-0-0)? I was thinking of putting down the Stress blend instead (7-0-20). I’m concerned that higher Nitrogen content might burn out the lawn in this high heat/sun.
Applied DD a week ago today, watered it in really well and has rained 3 times since, I have not seen any difference yet. It's been 7 days, I'll give it 7 more. Expecting rain tomorrow and will water once or twice in next seven days to see what happens but so far nothing, not impressed. My lawn is weed- free and green but not dark green so that was/is the goal. We'll see.
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral wish we had rain brother. Got a heat dome over Texas and no rain in sight. I went ahead and laid down the stress blend yesterday to get that process going.
@@jdh5385ify are you referring to me or BYD sir? If your asking me the question. I applied Stress Blend from YardMastery since Texas isn't getting any rain and we are on water restrictions. No fertilizer in August at all. It will just kill your grass. Apply now or by the weekend or by next week being the latest. Hope this helps you
@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral This year here in New England, it's literally rained almost everyday so water is not the issue. Could it be the type of grass or the PH is to high or low?
I just saw a clip of Andersons new Dark Green Lawn, 25-0-0 with 6% iron and let me tell you, double dark is weak compared to it. I used the double dark cocktail last year with 9% iron and still didn't notice a difference.
