You can do it! Give them some epsom salts and see what happens. I think it made my tomatoes much sweeter snd possibly deeper in color. Thanks so much for watching.
I love the idea of the container gardens. We are full time RV living so this is an option for us to have our own fresh veggies. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to watching more. Sherry
I love how resourceful you are, and how you maximize your space. This shows everyone can start somewhere, no expensive materials required! How long have you been growing?
I've been growing for a couple of years and enjoy sharing what does and doesn't work in my garden. I still have a lot to learn and that's the fun part( besides the eating).🍅🍉🥒🥦
I can definitely relate to going plant crazy...lol Have you ever tried BT for the caterpillar/worm problem on the collards? It also may help with the leaf miner. I love Dollar Tree!!! I am in love with all the containers. I just really feel like there is a place for container gardening in the world I refuse to be shamed for it! I also love the square foot gardening method. Have you ever tried the sungold or black cherry tomato? They are sweet and my favs in the garden. I love the color purple too. I named on e of my garden beds Purple Rain...lol
You have a bed named Purple Rain? That's awesome! I'll have to look for it on your channel. Actually I've been thinking about trying the BT, but I was testing out the neem oil first since I already had that. Time to step it up a bit. Those leaves need some help! I haven't tried either of those tomato varieties yet but I'll definitely keep an eye out for them. We're having a lot of fun trying the different ones we do have including the ground cherry, which is related. That is absolutely wonderful.🍅🍬
Awesome video Nell. I love the harvest! I grew my cape cod gooseberry (ground cherry) for the first time this year...they are very tasty. By the way my yellow pear last year grew to about 6 feet tall. I was just eating my crookneck for lunch. I got squash bugs real bad this year, be careful....treat hard.😊🌱
Thanks for letting me know about that yellow pear. I had no idea it could get so big! Right now, those ground cherries are my favorite thing. Wish I had more and a few different varieites. I've hear the Aunt Molly is good, but I I can't find one. I'll watch out for those squash bugs. Thank you🙂
Home Cents With Nell I’m not sure why that tomato took off and just kept growing. I had to top it. I wanted fruit and less growth. Now this year I have it’s reseeded babies all over the garden. I broke down and bought spray and sprayed my 3 squash plants. Two vines are dead. I won’t get any butternut this year.☹️ I’m praying I can get just a little more crookneck.🤞🏽I have truly enjoyed harvesting and eating it. Thank you so much for watching. I hope all is well. Stay safe and Happy Gardening to you.😊🌱♻️
