Mine too and it only took 3 minutes! I am glad I tried it before I used one! I used 100% cotton in everything! The batting by itself caught fire and it was Wrap and Zap!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I’ve been singing this song at Accuquilt and Beyond for years, but didn’t want to guinea pig my house to prove it in a video. I hope this video saved thousands from going stupid stuff. Place the hot bowl of food in the cozy to keep it warm, but never cook your cozy in the MW 🥰
Thank you so much for reviewing this brand of coffee. Upon your suggestion I ordered some Golden pecan. I love it!!! I need the low acid, so these are perfect. Again THANK YOU.😊
I had a potato bag “with a potato “ catch fire. Was only in for a minute said it was all 100% cotton. All my cozy’s I never recommend microwaving. Just using after you have taken food out.
Hhmmm 🤔 My thoughts: the cozy is supposed to protect one's hands from the heat of the bowl. I microwave the food in the bowl, but NOT the cozy itself <--- fire hazard eliminated.
I put a note with it saying Not to microwave. To make it safe. Oils, and sugar etc product will burn if cozy is spoiled too. I say pull bowl out a lil then grab it with the cozy. Xo
Allo, Si vous avez placé le bol en tissus seulement dans le micro onde pour le tester il se peut cela arrive car il n’y a aucun liquide. Il faut y ajouter aussi un aliment à réchauffer.
For the Phosphorous test , you are supposed to put the blue sediments back into the solution (shake it). (The blue one) For the Potassium, you don't want to shake them tho. My Nitrogen test came out really weird... it's like green/yellow and coagulated. Not sure what's going on there....
Have a question. Can metal watering trofs be used as a raised bed.i had raised beds in Illinos that were made of wood ,4×8 beds I used mels mix. I'm now living in Texas and notice people are using these medal tanks for their gardens. Any advise. Thanks, Charlotte
Hello and yes, I've seen quite a few people use metal beds successfully, and I think they're the same ones that you're wondering about. I have a video about different garden beds available at Home Depot that showcases the metal beds as well as some other pre-made beds if you want to take a look at the options. Thanks for stopping by my channel.
Thanks for the info. I have been putting this off for about four years also. Just would not take the time to read the instructions. But you did that for me. Thanks again.
Sounds about right. My beds were gonna need a total of 48 cubic feet and even my most conservative estimate was nearly $400. Not gonna do that. Thank you for sharing this alternative!
Oh I just love you! Hahah something about your energy is so beautiful ♥️ thanks for doing this taste test cause I’ve been very, very curious!! They’re so adorable so I wanna grow them and wanted to know what they tasted like 🥰 love cucumbers.. and love citrus so I’m thinkin I’ll love these! Also.. gardening on a budget?! Can’t wait to checkout other videos on your channel 😍
I've been collecting soil from the woods around the land, hopefully I can jusg use that. However I do want to try mel's mix, square foot is my favorite gardening book
You're fortunate to have woods near you! I'm sure that soil is so full of nutrients. Mel's mix has worked well for me, and I refer to his book often for the planting calendar as well as other tips. Thanks for commenting!
@@HomeCentsWithNell Everyone on reddit and youtube seems to be divided and I'm wondering your opinion to a first time gardener. The dirt in these woods is probably mostly wood and leaves that have been composting for many years. Can't I just fill my grow bags with that? It looks like potting mix you would buy in stores, nice blackish-dark color, although I do try to sift out the rocks and big clay chunks.
I appreciate your video. I would suggest, regarding acidifying your soil, that you use Sulphur (dust or chips) rather than peat moss, primarily because peatlands are a large storer of carbon, but also provide a rare habitat for wildlife, and its usefulness in preventing flooding and filtering water. The RHS website has a good article on 'Acidifying soil'.
Hi. Does the instruction tells you what it meant by surplus, sufficient, adequate, deficient and depleted? Does it also shared tips on how to increase them should it be deficient and depleted? Thanks
Wow, I have to rethink a dozen Christmas gifts I was going to make with homemade instant soup packets. Maybe, just microwave WITHOUT the bowl in the bowl cozy - though I'd have to tell everyone. Gee wiz! Thanks for letting us all know.
