Yup. Grew up in the city and never thought I'd leave. The older I get the further away I move. I now live almost 2 hours north of Atlanta in the mountains.
i live in dallas and never seen any shit like this. it is not hard to avoid if you arent out looking for it. most people in cities are just trying to live and make a living, same as any other place.
