For your small business, don't count the revenue as income because revenue is not income. As someone who works in ecom, you probably already know this. It's like counting gross revenue as profit, that's insanity. You're going to be paying way too much in taxes. Shelter your money under your SPLLC as best you can. Use separate accounts to pay for everything as a write off. If you need to pay yourself an income from that, then do a minimal amount so you're not paying business tax and income tax on the same money. I don't know what a tax consultant is but I have a really good accountant who handles our small business and my regular T4 income from my FT job.
