how lovely that tilly was able to be at that one school for her whole career. of course that'll put everyone in floods of tears when it comes to an end! so glad she has college to look forward to. love that photo of her in the garden centre!

Yea there’s no way round it I think the teachers cried harder than the parents! Even a teacher Tilly had there when she was little came down to the hall to find us and give me a huge hug. She’d taught tilly for 3 years straight and the minute she walked in and saw me she burst into tears! I had to sit in the car after the assembled for quite a while before I felt ok to drive home. But how blessed we’ve been to have had that beautiful love and support for so long ❤️

I self sabotage all the time even though I tell myself not to. Loved this vlog and seeing you by the sea with your dogs. I know it’s hard to let your kids go but we have to they always come back when they need their mum. Big hugs ❤

I feel for you I remember when my 3 left home, that empty nest feeling is awful. You feel like you want to wrap them up in cotton wool so they never get hurt, but you know they have their own lives to live and mustn't be selfish but it pulls on the heart strings. This heat is horrible, I like the sun but hate the humidity. Love to you and your lovely family kisses to Tilly for her new adventures to come, love & hugs ❤

I still feel emotional when I think of my son and daughter as young children. They grow up so quickly. My two are now in their 40s with children of their own. Being a grandma is a great joy and consolation buf I do wish sometimes that I could turn back the clock.😢❤ I love seeing your home, garden and caravan and hearing what you have been up to.

Lizzie i think being part of being a good mum is embracing the heartache of letting them go isn’t it. I once made a sculpture called flight platform living about this. It’s like doing what you don’t want because it’s what they need ❤️

That all seems quite emotion-packed. I was crying while I watched. Tilly was at her school a long time and I'm sure they are like family. I hated it every summer when my two eldest went with their dad for 2 weeks. It seemed like forever. I'm now an empty-nester (for yrs now). I raised my kids to be independent and they are. You'll find your groove. There are wonderful things to discover in every phase of life. Thank you so much for sharing, Candy!!

Oh, yes please talk more about your Thoth learnings and share about the King of Wands! That card has been coming up for me a lot lately! 🔥Loved seeing all of your July happys! And, as a mom of two teenaged boys, I can 100% understand and relate to that tugging of the heart strings as we watch our children spread their wings. Sometimes I will go back and look at pictures of my boys when they were younger and just wonder where have all the years gone? 😭They will always be our babies, despite their age. 💕

Every time you do a video, I think, "Oh my, this is my favourite one!" And this one is now my favourite one. ha! When I slip up on plans, I always think it is the spirits kidnapping my brain to alter my plans for the better ... like, maybe something bad would have happened if I kept those plans, or maybe something better would happen if my plans were altered. This way of thinking has improved my life exponentially. You are such a beautiful soul. It gives me hope for the world. Enjoy the rest of your beautiful summer!

Thank you for sharing your July with us. I love seeing around your home and caravan. It is so beautiful and like a fairytale. I'm still trying to get my eldest child out of the house, and he is 29....LOL My daughter is married and doesn't live here anymore, which I am so grateful for. I definitely do miss times when the children were younger though, especially the holidays and how happy they were. I would do your hashtag with collections but right now my room is in a bit of chaos with the new shelves that are coming in.

We have just bought a lot of furniture from a charity shop. We are so pleased with it. All bargains plus the money goes to a good cause.❤😊 your balcony looks lovely.

I loved seeing Tilly's pictures 🥰She has such a contagious smile. I always smile along with her. Love that she left a little mouse and the three little ducklings at her school she was at for 14 years 😊I am so sorry you have been going through it Candy 🍬 🍬 It is so hard letting the children spread their wings but don't worry because they will always fly back to you 🤗🤗You have some lovely decks and i am so glad you are living your Tarot and spending time with friends it is so important. Love your Caravan by the Ocean. I always feel like a weight has been lifted off me when i smell that Ocean breeze. Stay cool over there😎 I'm almost an empty nest, the 19yo is never home. I was a fairly young mom so Im not really sure who I was before kids. It's an adjustment for sure. I get bored easy. I'm beginning to learn who I am without kids needing anything 😅I've been diving into editing to keep myself busy. And the dogs of course. Reprogramming ourselves seems like a never ending task. Little bits everyday. Happy almost weekend❤
