First before crab, we went for some NOODLES! One of the most underrated noodles in Vietnam. Mi Tron, an instant noodle tossed in a spicy, sweet sauce and served with a side broth of beef, seafood, and definitely some scallions.
Finally time for the crab feast as Phong Cua. This place is really unique as you get to go to the back and pick which crab you would like to have for your meal. We went with the cua thịt lợn, which I mistaking translated in my video. Grant and I decided to go with the Curry Crab and picked a few side dishes to go along with the main star of the meal. Clear why this place is called the crab room. With perfectly cooked crab coated in a delicious curry sauce. I think every way you order crab here will be a delicious feast. It makes it obvious why everybody had a few crabs on their table.
Of course you know I couldn't stop there, I had to get something sweet. I went for a type of che that I haven’t had since I lived in Hong Kong. The black sesame seed and sesame seed desert is a staple in Hong Kong and I am so happy I found a man doing a really delicious version here in Saigon. Just don’t be like me and wait too late in the day or he may just sell out.
