I boarded the recently launched ship "Aoi".
"Aoi" means blue sea, blue sky, blue wind.
The name comes from the image of the colors of the Seto Inland Sea, which is full of light.
Luckily this time I was able to reserve a private room with a balcony.
We can enjoy the best boat trip while watching the beautiful sea of the Seto Inland Sea.

Aoi is a really nice ship with lots of open spaces. Personally, I love the open deck and its many viewing areas. I wish Aoi and her crew a safe voyage always. By the way, will the old 'Ritsurin II' also retire soon? Maybe a good name for the successor ship is 'Akane' hehe.

Great trip, to be honest for 3-4 hours ferry trip this room is excellent, rather than luxurious suite. And yeah, something I must appreciate about Japan is, even though islands in mainland Japan is well connected with many bridges and tunnel, but the ferry still crowded and making money.
