@@tiffanymunroe3056 This style is gorgeous and so are you, but is it heavy? I have two full packs of this (20") in my hair right now and my neck aches, but I soooo want to do this. Edit: Do the rubber bands cause breakage for you?
@@othrrm8722 Yeah, I'm going to have to pass on this style unfortunately. A couple days after I wrote the comment above, I woke up in the middle of the night and started removing pieces from the center of my head to decrease the weight because it was straining my neck as I slept.
I know this is a dated video but I love this style! I’m going to try it this week…I’ve been looking for a very natural 4C-centric protective hairstyle with length as I’m on a continuing growth and healthy hair journey! I love the hair that you used because it’s such a natural pattern and a dull sheen to it that’s absolutely gorgeous! And I love that it’s imperfectly parted and no heady products needed. ☺️ Truly a testament of timeless Afro beauty!
Me too! I’m going to try this! I love the non shiny hair. It looks beautiful and natural. I wear Zuri Afro curl 8-9-10 and I always get compliments on my hair. No one detects that it’s crochet hair!
It's giving freeform! Im obsessed! You are so beautiful, your hair texture is EVERYTHING!!!! I am a professional loctician this look is so nice! Well done!
I loooooove it, Sis! You resemble a beautiful black African Queen! Your jumbo twists are absolutely beautiful! Thick, lush, airy and very light in weight! I love how your jumbo locs are loose at the roots and not super tight; and your edges are natural! I can't stand to have my hair pulled tightly, especially at the roots! I've seen some ladies add too much synthetic hair to their natural hair to get the same size of your jumbo twists. You've proved that's not necessary. I'm about to install jumbo twists and leave them in for two months. I will be using your technique to install them. Thanks so much for sharing this video with us. :-)
I just want to say thank you! I achieved my desired look following your instructions step by step. The way you explained and demonstrated what you were doing was super easy to follow. Everyone around me loved this style. Can’t wait to see you post more! Stay blessed ❤️
This is so cute! I love how you part your hair because it's definitely more realistic for me. Trying to part crisp and perfect stresses me out. Adding this to my must try list for sure❤
When you added the Marley hair to your hair did you use both the strands and fold them to make the hair longer and added a third to the ends of the twist ?? Or just one strand and added the second one to the end of the twist???
It looks like she took two strands out the pack and put the ends together at the intersection at her scalp. Then she added a third strand, folded in half, at the bottom of the twist after she twisted a little more than halfway down with the first two strands. I hope that helps and makes sense! Trying this style myself tonight ♥️
I will for sure be doing this hair style. I ❤ hair tutorials w/o much product. My hair doesn't like too much product. Just coconut oil amd leave in conditioner for me. 👏😀
😭💗💗 thank you so much!! I add the hair strictly for length! So you can follow that step if you want a length similar to mine. And depending on how long you want your twists you just need to manipulate when you add the extra hair. For example, deciding if you’ll twist half way down and then add the extra piece or twist 3/4 of the way down and then add. Totally up to you!
Went to the store, saw the hair and came to RU-vid for a nice jumbo twist style. Thank you! You are gorgeous and I love how natural the hair looks on you🥰
I love you twisties and they look very nice on you you kind of have that Janet Jackson voice girl work that to you advantage I will be doing those twists on myself
Girl you look absolutely magical 😻. I will for sure be trying this style. I have done this style with spring twist hair which is a perfect match for my hair, but I like the Marley twist hair better. They look like beautiful puff locs.
@@FacetyWellSweet Hey Amanda, washed my scalp and the initial braiding knots to make sure no build up gets trapped in the extensions. Once hair is dry I LOC my scalp and exposed hair as normal. On the extensions I apply lotion and spray sheen to make up fresh again. Hope that helps!
I’m back .... lol what about braiding the root of the natural hair pulling the braid through the root and leaving the end to twist together with the braid ?
Ok so you stated that you used (3 1/2 packs) in your description box to do your hair, it seems to me like you need more for the extensions...is this correct? If not please explain
Finally got your Chanel been following you on ig and I love love you loads, I ended up here cos I wanted to know how I can maintain my twists when they get old and don’t really want to take them out too soon
I really enjoyed this video @ not only was you begainner friendly..by walking me slowly step by step. I think Im gonna put the headband wig that I Just brought up for a latter date@ put these twist in for a while ...THANKSYOU.
