Big story was Pog’s sprint for the bonuses. That was flat and neither of those guys could come around sprinting out of his wheel.

Can someone less dumb than me explain why TJV didn't have Kooij try and snatch the bonus seconds on the intermediate sprint? I know they want him to go for the win, but surely having him do a short 1v1 with Pog wouldn't take enough out of him to ruin his chances in the final sprint.

Cort was not put in position. He should bring a team mate in position for the sprint but their sprinter lost Corts wheel and he did the sprint him selv. He told so to the danish television. Great danish day. Congrats Mads. Jonas and team Jumbo Visma takes time back tomorrow and then the mountains will decide who wins the gc. This is a weeks race. Jonas is much stronger i 3 weeks races.

As impressive as I find Pogacar picking up these sprint bonus seconds. I'm not as convinced in the UAE time trial team over 34km. McNulty, Yates and Almeida are a lot of stars at the Tirreno. Either of them would've been a welcome addition to the Nice time trial bunch. Dennis, Affini, Foss, Vingegaard are legit time trialists with Tratnik and van Hooijdonck being able to ride an incredible pace as well. Kooij will likely give its all and get dropped. Pogacar, Grosschartner, Bjerg are all pretty good, Wellens can ride like a beast. Novak, Trentin and Oliveira. I can see them lose quite some time, way more than those 12 bonus seconds Pogi has won. But we'll see tomorrow how it will turnout.

Im biniams biggest fan he looks so much like sagan I got ripped forsaying that at GW last year but that sprint distance, and in how fluid he sprints allowing him to go for distance without lactate locking him up, and in era wit remco, MVDP, primoz, love pederson too potential and present all time greats Wout and Tadej are ultimate foils they cost each other many road wins than even MVDP because of wouts versatility. Disc brakes are the best thing for WT now teams have to employ double the team mechanics and riders get fitter having to chase even harder if they ever get a flat because of their much slower wheel changes. More spokes make the bike slower so you need to brake less thru the corners because the bike now has 'auto slow' mode on full lock.

I dont Think it’s jumbo not having a Pog plan. He did take bonus seconds before in the tour as well, and Jonas still one. I just simply think, they know. Jonas is not able to be anywhere close to pogacar on small sprints, and is hoping they can beat him when the altitude and degrees get higher.

I don't think JV is too bothered with the TTT coming up.
