I was a guest on this trip and apparently this particular Capt is so booked that he doesn’t advertise it at all. I’d Google Nantucket Shoals charters you should find some ideas.

@@FishinOC so what rods do you recommend to use in this body of water? Most fluke rods I seen the specs say 1-6 ounces or like jigging world some rods specs are 4-10 or6-12 ounces?

@@civic30045 I use a medium/heavy fast taper 7 1/2 footer. Other guys had 8' rated for 8-12 oz.

WOW! 16 ounces of lead for fluke seems INSANE to me! I was wondering why the guys were using the reels I use for big tog here where I fish. Then I heard 16 ounces! I'm questioning if it would even be worth it for me to make that colossal trek to Nantucket Shoals to fish 16 ounces of lead for fluke. Now, if I could jig up to 6 ounces all day, THAT would be interesting.

So are the 20” fish...and flounder population is doing great.
