what a romping jump tune Mr. Platt. Is there any chance we (I) could acquire the backing track...what a fantastic bit of jump....couldn't stop my feet from moving around the whole time. Would really love the backing track (if possible) Thank you so much in advance!!! --James
An amazingly dynamic demonstration of blasting those jump blues! Especially nice articulations in the upper register! Thanks Roly! All the Best! ~ Gregson Gordon 🎵
Just bad ass boogie bro, lick after lick, smooth as ice...theres so much here in these 5 min that i just hope some sticks and turns up in my playing someday, great fun to jam along to these vids thanks Rory - you're a titan of the tin sandwich!
So smooth…clean …tone incredible…I know you were a Butterfield fan! You’re the real deal…Carlos DeJunco. Howard Levy…Kim….Richard Salwitz …Tone ….I could listen to you all night.. Toots would of loved you too
Thanks Roly! I used to think a Harmonica was like a toy and all the notes where not there. Looks like you have well blown that thought out of mind! Thanks Buddy! Was that in the Key of Glee?? Sure sounds like it. Thanks again.
@@RolyPlatt Roly been trying to see when you comment...to ask you about your "slant" position...have you always played with this grip ? Does it give clearer single note expression or some other assist in phrasing or something? 🤔 Whatever it is you get an excellent sound my friend ! ✌
Hello Roy, I really like your sound, of course there is your talent, could you tell me, if you use effects? an amp? Thank you for your help, I am currently looking for my sound too
Hi Beija On this & most of my YT videos, no amp - running straight into my recording software usually with delay & reverb for effects. It really is the player that creates their sound. I've played through many amps & many mics & always sound like me - as do other players. The gear helps & makes a difference but does little if you don't know how to get that sound out of it.
