Lon, I really like your channel. Not every review is of interest to me but more often than not, the next one is. I like your review of cheap tech and it's kinda my go-to when buying something interesting for my son who is 5. I bought the kangaroo pc and made it an emulation station for him which turned out to be much cheaper than any console I could have bought. Keep up the good work!
But the thing is that you can get a Lenovo yoga book for around this price , or can go for some other old gen pavilion 2-1 and would get much more satisfaction, even in cheap lineup the competition is quite high

"Buy at your own risk" is true. however the community behind these devices often will have your back. When i updated a Win8.1 tablet I got from china to Win10 i lost touch support and sound support. Couldn't find working drivers. Going back to 8.1 was not possible as the drive was wiped and there was nothing at all online for Cube's (manufacturer) website. Long story short a guy from a youtube comment added me on skype and linked me a full backed up image of the tablet and I was able to re-install it back to factory after like 9 months of no longer using it. With that said, as soon as you get one of these devices, use double driver and back them up first thing. It really saves you a lot of issues in the future. I just got my Ezbook 3SE from geekbuying like two months ago and the first thing I did was back up drivers.

Lon , you didn’t use steam in home streaming from a gaming PC to that poor little thing. It’s a relevant test for such a system. I have a atom based dell tablet that works amazingly as a client for inhome streaming, but same chipset asus tablet I had sucked, tons of stutters and stalls
I'll take a look - actually I am about to start playing around with a streaming engine called Parsec that supposedly runs well on these cherry trail devices. My experience in the past has been very good - the bottleneck is not the chipset so much as it is the Wifi.
There is also Moonlight if you have a gaming pc with an nvidia gpu as it is a third party open source implementation of Nvidias Gamestream tech they use with their Shield devices.
I bought such a device and the screen did not work forever. The seller does not respond. Although I filmed a video of the problem but he did not respond. I recommend not buying.
