Amazing! What an improvement in Addie's flat work on day 2. Absolutely super! The jumping was epic too. What an amazing learning experience for both of you ❤
It would be amazing if you could try and get up to Piggy every couple of months. She is def the right Trauner for you as a pair. Or maybe you could take a months sabbatical and go be a working pupil for a month or so x
Amazing! What an exceptional experience. Always thought Piggy was a gem (not through any actual contact, mind you), but great to see she is! ❤❤❤. Well done you and Addie!
Thoroughly enjoyed this vlog but particularly wanted to note how giving Piggy was in supporting you through a cheeky follow up session. That is truly giving back to her sport and like so many others commenting here it was a great lesson on the details for those of us not competing at the top levels! Thank you!!
This was fantastic! The last little schooling session with Piggy was so worth it, and overall lots of good tips I’m going to borrow for my own little mare who sometimes has opinions about how hard we should be working😂 Really well done, Emily and Addie, and thank you for sharing Piggy’s lessons with us, she is incredible ❤
Amazing vlog, thanks so much for sharing your journey with Addie! Piggy is fantastic! What an incredible opportunity to train with her for a day. I also really loved your mini lesson in the morning!
Well done! I have to tell you - if anyone ever says to me again, "The horse does all the work!" I'm going to show them this vlog! You run, you do marathons, you ride all the time, muck stalls, do yoga and pilates and God knows what and you were huffing and puffing! It is hard work. Addie made it look easy for the most part but kudos for adjusting her stride, riding her well and redeeming yourself and Addie. You didn't need redemption but this was a lovely way to end after your morning struggles.
Love the Piggy tour and info on how she manages her yard - the setup is crazy the organisation - her yard manager and grooms must be incredible - she is just amazing -... and you got a lesson! awesome
Jumping machine 🔥🔥👏👏👏 her rhythm was so consistent which in turn gave you an epic school. Addie is a smart brave keen jumping bean 🧡 flatwork takes a lot of muscles for them to properly balance and use themselves… keep building her up… you ARE making progress. The barn tour was lovely. Very practical 😊
Aaaw darling Addie, love her antics, occassional buck of Joy,her wanting to stop but straight away responded to your aids👏🏻Shes a real trier, still so young and inexperienced but showing great potential👌🏻Big Well Done to You Emily, thoroughly loved yr vlog x
What a change between the first ride and last of these vlogs! You're doing a great job with her and young horses go through stages just like children. I think it also can be especially tricky when horses live at home and are not doing ringwork regularly. Of course it's not as much fun so attitude will be given. However, experiences like this are so huge for you both. Love watching your journey together!
That break even point when you really GET IT Piggy is such a sensitive teacher, You got the balance and Addie was bucking with Joy because she Loves how it feels when you ride her with that collection and bounce I can SEE IT i never Got it when i used to ride.. Now i watch you guys and i GET It, i see how hard it is to keep it for the whole course and keep checking and balancing and have the impulsion but she jumped round and her body was working, she has more muscle now and you looked like a pro just those small instants where tiredness for addie or slight loss of focus but in all it looked so compact and neat and addie was jumping so round and big BravO 💜
Ooooo I do love a good dose of em and Addie jumping. I love watching her jump, She's got a leap and a half 😁. I'm so jelly you got to train with piggy 😂 keep up the great work girlys ❤
We can’t help but be tickled by you and Tina teaming up with Alanna, who bears the same name as our 16 year old granddaughter, who spells her name in the same way! Piggy is definitely helping you up the ante in your eventing trajectory. From your four year fans in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
