Jumping spiders really deserve more attention than they get, they are some of the coolest and cutest arachnids out there in my opinion. Those big eyes are adorable! A great group of spiders to help people get over arachnophobia I’ve found. Great work Jack! - Harrison and Evan
I really do think jumpin spyders could be a good way for people to get over their fear of spyders, their oddly "cute", fun to watch, and docile. Great video
Woah!! I wish I could find a jumper that huge😩 I just recently got a baby phiddipus texanus and she's still so tiny, i love watching her catch flightless fruit flies❤
My pet jumping spider is sleeping when I suddenly saw a other one *jumping spider * appear at the window…. The other one is like little bit invisible n my is little bit red n black. N also bigger then my spiddy. I was like: I just catch 3 days ago, it should be no more spider by now*
Great video Jack! It was really interesting to see all the diversity that one tree had to offer, and I loved the jumping spiders, plus that cool beetle! I always love to find jumping spiders, in fact today I found which what I believe was a zebra spider (Salticus scenicus). Fantastic video as always!
#sorrynotsorry This is my absolute favorite episode (it's hard to choose, trust me). I have pet jumpers. Their faces make me melt. Thanks for making this video, Jack!
We have a lot of those were I live, and you can find anywhere else in your house, they're amazing creatures and pretty chill too, I never seen someone getting bite by this spiders.
Any way you could catch a few and ship them to Florida? My son and I have been trying to find wild caught ones to breed forever! and haven't had luck. I can't afford jumpers from breeders. No worries but I figured it doesn't hurt to ask. 😊
Fun fact: jumping spiders take pride in their nests(webs/hammocks) they will come back to the same nest and keep building onto it, unfortunately this guy wrecked a bunch of spider homes, also it can take the spider 2 days to get just a base nest.. other than that not a bad vid..
By the way, can we just take a second and achknowledge how big and old that tree probably is? I'd bet it's atleast 120 years old based on the size of the base! I love Jumping spiders, there's such a plethora of different species
Still scary when you’re searching the ground though. Keep think a croc sized spider is gonna rush out to eat your hands. 😂 arachnophobia sucks but love your video.
@@timjensen9747 Yes thanks, that's what I meant! Google translate didn't do any good for me there! English is my second language, some words are harder than others hahaha :D
Years years ago, talking about 25 years ago, I saw one of those jumping 🕷's sitting on the wooden edge along our house patio. It was furry, black, and at the time I thought it had green eyes, lol..yeah, I know it's the fangs now. The thing studied me as I stared at it for about 5 minutes. Then as I tried getting a closer look, it vanished behind the wood, and never again did I see one. This was near East Los Angeles at the time. Wondering if this particular spiders exist in California?
Side story: Spider community's special report, alerts, & sightings: Giant human ravages our homes in apparent search for community members. Damage estimated to be in the thousands, looking for Carpenter Ants for contract repairs and restoration of property. Bounty for unknown human!
Ya it is a shame he doesn’t get more views. He rose the bar with some of his sting video snd brought more realistic info to the net and deserves to get paid. Unfortunately being real in this world gets a man no where
Sooo we tore up their territory and forced them out of the comfort of their own home to get some shots?....then put them back to return back to exactly what they were trying to do which was mine their own business and feel safe and tucked away?....🤔🧐🤨
I've wanted some of these for so long and can't afford them from breeders and I want wild caught ones so I have a chance at a gravid female and know what I'm getting. If anyone has these around and could catch me one or more I would give you money. I want some to raise and breed with my weight year old son.
