Assalaumalakim Mufti. Just had to tell you I truly love listening to your lectures. You have taught me most of what I know about Allah. Thank you and I don't know what I would do without you. Inshallah....Imeen
ya Allah help me to become such a speaker like our sheikh and make me to be a great person in life and also all other my brothers and sisters Masha Allah
There are 2 opinions on this matter. The first opinion is the majority followed stance, which is the Khutbah should only be in Arabic, however the pre-Jumu'ah lecture can be in any language. The second opinion is that it can be delivered in a local language, so that the masses can understand what is being said. We respect both opinions - there are scholars on either side.
Fadal PT السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته ... I believe the Khutbah to be the Sunnah words of our beloved Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم which should be in the language he صلى الله عليه و سلم spoke... the Bayaan on the other hand should be in the language of the people of that particular place so as to benefit those who attend All goodness is from Allaah عز و جل and all evil is from myself. May Allaah عز و جل forgive me and may He grant us all a deeper understanding ❤️
