YES! I've been waiting for an updated Jun guide. Although I've heard some people say she's easy to play, as a beginner, I must admit I have not found that to be the case in actual gameplay. I've had much easier success with some other characters, but I love Jun's design and animations. So, thanks very much for this great guide 😊.
Fantastic walkthrough for Jun’s moves and setups. Learned a lot on why and when I should use certain moves and strings. FYI I have found that MIA stance is really good for mix ups and heat engage on the slower heavier characters like the bears and Jack 8. If you have some decent space it’s a really good tool on them.
I'm picking up Jun FR now, this guide is a huge blessing for an intermediate player. Much love Ferg for helping me learn for like almost a decade now ❤❤
really good guide Fergus! Whats ure opinion on her placement in the tier list? I’d place her in the mid tier cause she has some issues that hold back her offense, particularly her lack of scary lows. I think she is better played defensively cause she has good punishment, keepout or panic moves, insane heat parry, and best whiff punish launcher. Based on experience she really struggles against defense-oriented, turtling, and movement crazy players which hinders her offense.
i started play Leo after the nerf hammers dropped. I have been really cooking and putting in the work. but i may play Jun again since this seems more reasonable with the healing she can do now.
I was expecting a bit of coverage on Df4, the followups for it on CH do feel a bit limited, but it has gotten me and other Jun players that Ive studied out of tight spots
