Hows your garden doing?!
@rowyntripp2594
@rowyntripp2594 2 года назад
Well… Texas has been having August heat in May and June this year, so our crops are diminishing 😔 Already thinking about fall crops! Texas fall planting are the best!

Chickens LOVE grasshoppers! The rolly Pollies are so annoying- I have replanted my squash 4 times! 😵‍💫 love the garden- can't wait for mine to explode like yours!

Ugh that's the worst! Last year that was me and then by the time I got certain things to finally be left alone it was to late for them to produce. Such a annoying experience. Im just waiting for vine borer to randomly appear, they always seem to lol.

So excited to follow along!! I ordered some Goldie honey bear sunflowers based on your recommendation and I’m hoping to have enough time for them to bloom this fall-they are so gorgeous!! Love how much value you are adding in your gardening experience with your channel and I’m so excited that I found you!

Awesome tour! I’ve heard people rave about German butterball potatoes but never tried them. Also, in 6A Michigan, organic grocery store softneck grows well.

Your garden is looking great! So much happening! In my container garden, haven't really harvested anything yet, except for one pea pod. It's been unbelievably wet up here in zone 8b! I just want some tomatoes, damnit!

Thank you!!! This spring has been our first warmer and dryer one and everything has been taking off! previous years I wasn't this far along!! Crazy how such simple things can make such a difference! Once all that rain passes your garden is going to go wild!

Hey me again, I also just learned that theres something about alyssum flowers that help attract a bug that kills hornworms! thought I'd throw it out bc you were talking about the marigolds for the hornworms so now you have another beautiful plant to help with that

HI Bree, what do you feed your garden? I'm just getting into that process I have tomato tone for my tomatoes which are in grow bags but I need to feed the rest of my raised beds so I was thinking some compost and was wondering if maybe a seaweed solution also before the compost? thoughts??
@itsbreellis
@itsbreellis 2 года назад
Honestly. I do a variety of things! Ive used the whole organic tone line and they all work great! You could defiantly top with compost as well! I think your idea should work great.

Can I ask u a question idk I havent paid that close attention to beauty...just veggies yeah I've had marigolds and one year I planted nasturtiums. I only have 50 sq ft of beds I kinda like the idea of native flowers to u interplant flowers and veggies or do u kinda keep them seperate...Idk most of my stuff get big and will give atleast partial shade...thoughts?
@itsbreellis
@itsbreellis 2 года назад
Ive always had luck intercropping! Its really just trial and error!
