I hope you loved The House Keeper and the Professor. It's such a gentle story. Love James Herriot's stories. Priceless! and Ummmm- Hannah, the whole point of "Read Your Bookshelf" is to read YOUR shelf! 😅 (not the library's)

I've only read some of the Narnia series and A Grief Observed, but I'm ready to dip into his works a bit more. 🙂

Definitely reading a contemporary Christian beachy read for June along with a long list of possibilities. Hoping to actually get to read on the beach a few times this Summer. I typically don't take books with me - too worried about my precious ones getting sandy. haha But maybe I can chill out and try it.

I'm also slowly reading through Les Mis. I'm almost finished with volume 3. Two more to go!

The Space Trilogy of C.S. Lewis is on the shelves of my library - interested to hear what you think about book #1.

Haha, I'm kinda intimidated. 😄 I've not read much sci-fi at all, but I figure it's a good a time as any!

@@pylesofbooks I hear ya. I'm not a sci-fi girlie, but my Dad and son have always been fans. It's my goal to read C.S. to zero, sooooo 😁 they are the next ones I plan to tackle of his. I didn't even realize he had written sci-fi until I saw them on my son's shelf. Curious, but also intimidated! hehe Let me know when you start. I may as well!

Aw, that's okay! I learned about all kinds of books once I started watching Booktune regularly a few years ago. 😊
