My goodness! I'm so jealous! But thank you so much for the inspiration! I just moved to Buckingham County VA and this is my first full year of collecting palms. I have many birds of paradise, a few banana, and a zillion orchids and aroids. I'm trying to build my own oasis down here. Your place is absolutely amazing

Just loved the tour Tim. Stunning view together with an equally fantastic garden. I'm excited to hear of your trial of the Cuban Royal outdoors. I wish you the best of luck with it. I think your unknown trachy is a Nova. Slender trunked, long petioles definitely fit. Cool to see the robellini doing so well. Thanks man for the tour. Really enjoyed it

Thank you. If you have the trachys in the ground, they will take off very soon and you will be shocked how fast they grow.

Hello, I have a question, I live around the Newburgh area, I was interested in purchasing a windmill palm. Its in a 7 gallon pot. I was wondering when you think i should plant it. Should I wait to buy it until next summer or can I still plant it now. Thanks!

Do you have the species name for the cactus? We have an almost identical one but more rounded that is suffering from some sort of root rot Love bigleafs as well

Do you box in the Araucaria araucana in the winter?

I don't... I have turned on Christmas lights on it a couple of times when it was going down to below 10F (-12 C). I put them on in the fall ready to go just in case. So far it has done really well
