..... and the mystery goes on ....... I added some 2x4 LED ambers to my prerunner bumper and they operate from the upper switch - I just grabbed the wires after the relay to do it and they work just fine. One thing is that they go OFF when I hit the high-beams. I can live with that. Still no idea about the lower switch --- I guess it's more of a "rocker" than a "toggle" though. The upper is a Push On-Off.
My 07 envoy has fog lights and headlight washer buttons in that spot. Neither are a toggle switch. I do know the 02 TB had a traction control option but not sure if that is your mystery switch.
seems like fog light front is the one above, the one below is fog ligh on the rear side, and these light arent driving light... only use for foggy situation because they will drain ur battery quick. What vehicle are you using ? just curious, cause the manual are everywhere online.
yeah the top one is fog light. Never imagined there are rear fog lights? interesting. I have the Haynes manual - so I could go check - but someone is shooting fireworks off nearby. haha
I have the Owners' Manual and there's zilch info about these two switches. Strange that both are not mentioned --- but both of them are in the same mono-case (behind the facia) of the dashboard and the unit as a whole fits perfectly in there and really looks factory. The only wires that come out of that housing are in the multipack connex, so that deepens the mystery - since that points to factory stuff. I dunnow.
