During this webinar, a class member asked if they could hoop a cap off-center using the regular (wide) cap hoop used by Happy machines, in order to place embroidery further from the center than what is otherwise allowable. The machine shown in the demonstration is the 12-needle HCS3-1201, which as a compact machine has a somewhat narrower field than the full-sized machines from HappyJapan. The techniques demonstrated in this video show that this narrower field can be overcome to allow that machine to embroider just about as far along the sides (and the front, too) as the larger machines, without using any other special equipment.
