June Making Plans 

Please don’t worry Ange as you seem to be taking on a lot at the moment! I know you have some family issues that you are supporting so please don’t put too much pressure on yourself! I am really enjoying my spindle spinning at the moment. Something seems to have “clicked” and I’m alternating between top and bottom whorl drop spindles and my support spindle. I’m practicing every day alternating all three styles and want to save up for a Turkish spindle next! Take care x

Hello Ange! As always, I don’t know how you manage to spin so many plates at once. As I was watching your podcast, I ripped out a crocheted shawl that I began yesterday as that was my 3rd project on the go. So I’m back just to a pair of socks for Anne @Spaknits and her 400g KAL, and a knitted blanket for an upcoming granddaughter! Take care of yourself and your family issues - we will all wait for you. Always love the monthly planning videos. They are fun to watch. I'm doing Summer Sock Camp with The Crazy Sock Lady. I'm still have a few sock WIPs to finish, but want to cast on a DK weight pair. And I'm trying to talk myself into working on the wedding shawl for my future DIL. I think this weekend looks promising. And I need to start a cowl for my sister. So much to knit, so little time.

Hey. I have 4 wips right now and they kind of fit your quotes. Two are crochet. A doll and a owl pillow. I hope they will bring joy. I will cast on another hat for a monk for the head quote. I also knit a summer shirt for a man and a make a wish cardigan by joji. Super intresting construction. Never gets boring to knit her stuff. Have a lovely month

Good to see your face Ange, but don’t push yourself too hard, we will be here when you get back. I have two things on the go- a string vest in fluorescent pink which I am calling Freddy Mercury for my eldest, which is a pita. They tried 10 times and gave up and I offered…the thing that is bringing me joy is a 4 ply colourwork sweater, Dark Academie, in deep chocolatey brown, foxy orange( madder) and a cream orange and brown speckle. It is so much fun I can’t put it down! I really need some socks for car kniting so may take up the leftover challenge. Jan aka the_motherthing.

Lovely to see you! I’ve chosen a few projects to focus on this month. I have a pair of socks for my daughter - nearly finished the first. There will be a self-striped vanilla pair of socks for my KAL. I also want to get my Whitmoor sweater finished - though I have both sleeves still to do. I have already finished a beanie I had started. Currently working on my Springfrost crochet blanket too but that’s a blanket so it won’t get finished this month.

Nice prompts for June. As it is my birthday month ... I am going to make it my month with brings some joy and socks. I am almost finished the body of my new All the Time Sweater so that should be done tonight and this one is going to be short sleeved so should be finished shortly. I also am almost done with the 1st side of my Double Take Tee. Then I swatched for the Ravine top which I am going to cast on next. My hopes that it will be one of the sweaters I take for my nieces wedding in September. The other top I want to knit is Tee No. 1 with a jewel tone purple and a smokey grey mohair. I am hoping it turns out as pretty as I envision it. If so I will pair that with a tea length black swishy skirt. The wedding is going to be about 4 pm on a Friday at a winery so nice but not black tie. I also have about 5 or so pairs of socks on the go. I seem to be unearthing more project bags as I organize my craft area. I may have to deem it a historical site as I am finding treasures! lol Here's to lots of crafting time for June!!
