In this episode, we'll jump right into Mushroom Foraging with some interesting fungal finds, as well as some of my favorite native plants, including the mycoheterotrophic Pacific Coral Root and a parasitic Groundcone! We'll even observe one of the great decomposers of the forest - the Arion Slug - up close.
Whether you're right here in Western Washington State, or in neighboring areas of the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Northern California, British Columbia) you're likely to be observing a lot of these same specie in a forest near you.
