I didn't know anything about Charles Coombs (even though I do have a couple of his YA Sci-Fi books). This was pretty fascinating. Same with artist Alex Toth, etc. I really look forward to each new upload from you. They've all been excellent. Entertaining and informative stuff.

I’ve had this book for decades and not got around to reading it. Your great video has convinced me that I should get to it sooner rather than later as I loved the tv show

There are still contemporary Westerns filmed all over the world. I recommend Red Hill (2010) from Australia.

I just finished reading my copy of the _Maverick_ book, and I found it really quite entertaining. It could make a fine episode of the series. It would have been a good first entry in a series of paperback westerns, but alas, the westerns from TV went to Whitman hardbacks while the spy series went to other publishers' paperbacks, it seems.

Westerns are popular all over the world. One of the most famous western writers in Spanish was Marcial Lafuente Estefanía, who wrote more than a thousand short pulp western novels during the sixties and seventies.
