Unpopular opinion : AOS 1 chemistry is better than part 2. Part1 didn't need even 1kiss to radiate the chemistry between the actors, while S2 had one kiss every episode.

I'm always expecting to see Mudeok in part 2 so it's very disappointing when she's not there anymore. She's a good actress & their chemistry is so powerful. Jang Uk never looked at anyone the same way he looked at Mudeok! Jang Uk/ Mudeok forever!

AOS won't be the same without JSM, mudeok chemistry with jang UK is one of the best I've watched this year. The actress playing Naksu can play Naksu but mudeok will always be JSM. season 2 without her will be a big loss.

I still can't move on from Mudeok (Jung SoMin) from season one. Don't get me wrong Naksu (Go Yoon Jung) in season 2 is stunningly beautiful and has good acting too, but I don't know...I felt something missing... those facial expressions, funny but still very cute mudeok, can't get off my memory....I miss her, I feel like, I felt Jang Uk's misery at the end of season one.

We come a looooooong way after Mudeok secretly admit her feeling for Jang Uk when Jang Uk replied to her letter back then. Now Mudeok openly admit her feeling guess Jang Uk is fully healed from the 'poison' now 😘

The writers wonderfully combined the obvious devotion of the two characters towards each with humor, reason so they are believable- helped by the stellar performances of the actors. I am going to miss this relationship in part two.

The chemistry between the character is phenomenal.....the development of there respective character as well as the development of relationship.. from maid and master .to teacher and student and gradually falling in love ..and risking everything for each other....

I laugh so hard at their bickering. Uk loves Naksu, the shadow assassin who glares at him with murderous eyes, the "cruel, no nonsense, willing to risk her life, eating humble pie" for him, always advised him to choose life and not hers. Uk 's type is not lovely women dress in silk fashionably...I love Naksu because even in her most desperate, weak and humble state as maid servant with a death sentence, she never let anyone put her down, loose her dignity even for love. She always remembers who she is, her goal and her hope with or without Uk. Awesome woman.

I love Alchemy of Souls. I love Jang Uk and Mudeok. I love Lee Jae Wook. I love Lee Jae Wook's chemistry with Jung So Min. She's the best leading lady i've seen him with so far. Every other leading lady he had felt meh... i love how this show suspends disbelief. It feels like i'm inside the show.

I love their relationship getting deeper and deeper every episodes...pls hong sisters and director plsss make this couple a great happy endingg ackk😣❤

The fantasy and the idea of this drama hit me to the bottom of my heart like Hollywood movie series Harry Potter. The theme is really fresh and wonderful to watch another world with different people and colours. We want more kdramas like alchemy of souls. Really love it. Jang UK is such a player I can't! When mudeok talked about promise and commitment he wanted to back out talking bout let's not rush things 🤣🤣

Its already episode 16 and yet I don't feel bored at all nor felt like this was dragging, so much unlike with how I feel with usual dramas that I watch, this feels so exciting with every new episode. Even though we still got a long way to go to reach the climax of the story, I keep looking forward to it every single week. The world building of this drama is just so superb that I am completely immersed when I watch, love that a lot of side characters have their own story and each of them doesn't feel one-dimentional. I hope this quality would stay as we go on the following episodes even if Somin's appearance on the 2nd part is kinda vague (they say she wouldn't be in it anymore) I don't really mind the changing of the actress, what is important for me is the integrity of the character and the skills of the actress to properly convey the emotions for the drama. I hope whoever follows Somin would do a good job cuz lets be honest here, she's one of the biggest reason why this drama got such a huge following.

if the female lead is not gonna be somin, then i feel like im having second thoughts whether i should watch the season 2 or not. itll be difficult to watch it. i love somin's chemistry with other characters (and i also love somin herself hehe)

It may seem like a random comment but the age of the main actress (33 y/o) vs the age of the lead guy (24 y/o) seemed really unnoticeable. I had watched her since playful kiss and that was like more than a decade ago and she can still portray that playful teenage vibe. Her face didnt seemed to change as well. I cant help but admire her smooth flawless skin in the camera.

how could the script turned from the amazing, witty, strong characters, performance hero fantasy focus of S1 to a cliche and typical romance drama on S2 🤡🤡🤡 it still baffles me!!!!!

Their relationship is a bit complicated.. they have promise to part away when both of them got their power and now they have another promise bcs they love each other

Their chemistry in the movie is undeniable, i dont understand in real life somin seems avoiding jae wook and closer to minhyun / shin hoo... Maybe because of the age gap? Wish they were close brother sister too in real life

am i the only one here who feels that there's two souls within mudeok's body? that buyeon/mudeok is still there and she just lets naksu's soul take over the control of her body. the alchemy of souls is supposed to switched the souls of two bodies but since mudeok/buyeon is from Jin family and she's a naturally born with divine powers she intentionally let naksu take over her body so she can trap naksu and her powers. naksu did not chose mudeok's body to begin with. i believed that buyeon/mudeok is also the one who saved jang uk when he almost fell victim to the alchemy of soul, that's why his soul did not switched with Gil-Ju. i don't know how the series will end but I'm having a wild guess that naksu's original body was not burnt maybe it was a fake body who knows, i think she will be revived and will return to her original body. with the use of ice stone they can definitely bring back the dead to life just like what happened to buyeon she wasn't supposed to be born. and mudeok will now live as buyeon.
