Both actresses are phenomenal,but .... there is no doubt, (Jung So Min) makes her character fun to watch. She makes you want to see what she will do next, comedically wise. She is funny, witty, and adorable. We all want to see the other actress shine, she is doing well on her own, but (Jung So Min) will always be Mudeok.

She really runs away from him like a shy girl who just got her first kiss that she is. So adorable and sweet. But first she showed Wook she got her jade egg back, revealing to him she cares about him.

season 1 way more better

The ost during the kiss and him pulling away slowly like he didn’t want it to end was too good

I'm not a fan of the eyes-wide-open-in-shock-kiss scenes but it was appropriate here. He caught her off guard, but he was soo gentle an affectionate. There's a sense of surety in his body language. No hesitation and non-apologetic, he's not ashamed to show her he means it. So swoony 🙈

Im gonna miss mudeok (jung so min) in season 2 😭😭😭, her smirk, sharp look when she's mad, her humor, her silly smile. Maybe we dont get to see more funny scenes in S2 anymore. How could they skip her, im brokenhearted 💔

Mudeokkie literally had the 'no thoughts, head empty' look when Uk leaned in for a smooch and the way she ran away after, adorable little assassin is catching feelings 🤣

I was so sad the JSM couldn't reprise her role in S2 so I didn't enjoy it as much as S1 since we were forced to be drawn to the 2 leads instead. Even their steamy kiss when S2 Naksu gained more of her memory didn't do much for me. I felt that Jang Uk was cheating. Lol. So when Naksu's soul supposedly left, it wasn't as sad as when Mudeok realized that she killed Jang Uk in S1 ending.

I still can't move on from Mudeok (Jung SoMin) from season one. Don't get me wrong Naksu (Go Yoon Jung) in season 2 is stunningly beautiful and has good acting too, but I don't know...I felt something missing... those facial expressions, funny but still very cute mudeok, can't get off my memory....I miss her, I feel like, I felt Jang Uk's misery at the end of season one.

4 episodes of AOS2 has passed but the chemistry of Jae Wook and So Min is so much better. Without her, I can't feel the same anymore. So Min's acting is just really fit Naksu's character. I know Youn Jung's acting is good and she's really beautiful but So Min is the best in my heart. Few sec of ep4 AOS2 made me miss So Min so much. Please just bring her back even just a cameo

I think now I know why I like season one better. SPOILER I have already watched season two till the latest episode which is episode 8 and something just feels weird. I get than uk has to move on from mudeok one day but the way the new naksu tries to replace mudeok what I am trying to say is that the character devolpemet of mudeok is what her the love of uk. When mudeok changed and would give up power for love and how she used to act as a maid all those traits made uk love mudeok but the new naksu isn't like that what it means is that uk didn't fall in love with naksu but mudeok. Like uk didn't even call mudeok naksh in private. I feel like mudeok was a hint of naksu and naksu in the second season is naksu with a hint of mudeok. So I get that people will say but mudeok had naksu's soul but that didn't matter. IDK HOW TO EXPLAN IT BUT IYYK

I love the way Uk always hug Mu Deok aka Naksu, it's so soft and comfort. They both love each other, they show it by actions, no need any words. The way Uk kisses Naksu is so soft. Even the main purpose as he said to prove to her but other way he wants to show that he love her, especially he knows Naksu also loves him. Arghhh I want to watch Alchemy of Souls everydayyyy!!

I think we all know So Min and Jae Wook know how to kiss so this kind of kissing for their first one goes with how things are between them in the story. Once she is ready and has fully accepted her feelings we might get a more passionate kiss.

I can't believe they're still ppl who think UK is in love with Buyeon. We're 14 episodes in and I doubt the writers wouldn't have made it clear by now if it was Buyeon. The viewers would need to see it to get invested in their story arch. Or those questioning about him loving the body/vessel (mudeok) knowing full well he's talking with Naksu 🤦‍♀️. That be pretty shallow of UK. The Hong sisters do bittersweet endings but I doubt they'd make it so complicated about who he really loves. The majority of us knows that's it's Naksu and Uk who are in love. Now whether the get a happy ending or not 🤷‍♀️
