Nice watch, those blued screws are real blued screws they come as part of the elaboré eta movement. Yeah i dont mind about the open case back but i think your right a nice designed caseback might be better and i know you like acrylic glass but i think a nice sapphire crystal the same domed shape might be better and take the half cut off indices markers off. Anyway its still a nice watch, thxs for posting. Ps. That strap looks excellent in it
I got mine some yrs ago in Germany during a vacation. Its really a nice watch, especially the dial, hands although I rarely wore it n eventually sold it away. The downside of this watch is that the strap spring pins is too close to the casing such that any straps u try to put in cant fit in. So either u use the original leather strap or find one that is not too thick where the spring bar goes in. So do take note of that if u plan to buy it.
Interesting, Didn't know about this one. It Doesn't have the visual impact of the Tissot or Longines Telemeters. But its much THINNER than those watches and has a Screwed Down Caseback as apposed to Cost-Cutting Cheap Snap-On type on those 2 watches. Also love the Tapered UfO shaped Case. Thers one on ebay, its worth getting it just as experiment....Shame about Swatch movmnt in a German watch. I wish it was Manual Wind !
You should be more precise: It is an ETA 2892 movement with a Dubois-Depraz 2030 chronograph module. The chronometer functions are realised by that Dubois-Dépraz module btw.
Great looking watch. Been a while since I viewed your watch reviews. The red lines on a white dial always stand out. Separately, the colours on my screen looks subdued. Did you apply a filter ?
