I applaud JK for shining a spotlight on some of America's finest choreographers by having them as his dance partners in live performances of SEVEN.

In the explicit version, he is making a point (and totally having fun with it). There are some Army that still sees him as a young kid. He has gotten annoyed a few times on VLive with Army telling him he shouldn't be drinking. He is announcing to the world that he's a grown man and can make his own choices. I'm totally here for it. It's a bop for sure. I love both versions.

Seven is a smash hit!! "Seven" officially became the fastest song to surpass 100 million streams in Spotify history, the first to hit the milestone in under 6 days. I am so proud of my bias. The mv is a masterpiece, his vocals is so stunning, he looked so good. Han so hee's and Jungkook's acting was top tier.

Absolutely agree the smirk in his face singing in the coffin is the single MOsT Jungkook thing it’s perfect. His co-lead is perfect as she just looks so very done with him 😂😂😂. The song and MV are perfect. The explicit version caused major damage to the fandom. We have yet to recover, the only cure is to continue streaming the song.

He has the confidence of all the members. This is the grown up JK! He is beautfully talented.

My reaction when I first heard the explicit version was similar to yours, but after listening to it more times, I'm no longer shocked. He did so good in the interviews and live performances in the US and Great Britian. Love to hear him speak in English. As a main dancer for BTS, he's very confident on stage. Love his voice and his dancing. So proud of him. 💜💜

He discussed the decision at length on his latest live. He appreciates people might be shocked or even offended, but is almost 26 and has outgrown some aspects of the "maknae" image often ascribed to him. He sang the "mixed" version you describe in his slowed down rnb rendition recently (again a live).

Definitely listening to the explicit more ngl because I think that's what he was really going for and trying to convey! Yes it's freaky and explicit but still very loving in my opinion but I get that everyone's standards and tolerance is different... I read somewhere that Bang PD suggested this song. When JK heard it, he loved it and wanted to sing this song. I honestly agree with everyone who said that this showcases that he's a grown man now and not because he says the F-word in the explicit version of the song. It showcases how as a young man how he wants to love a woman through all the trials and tribulations of life that they will go through. And that he will still be by her side loving her and will never leave her side no matter what.

Listening to the explicit version. I'm firmly on team Grown Jungkook can do whatever he wants. Drink, have sex, date, live the life of any balanced healthy adult. I hope this opens the door to other idols feeling like it's ok to not hide who they are. It's the foundation of what BTS has stood for.

Yeah this happens all the time with radio singles and album tracks. I think it works perfectly both ways and can reach all demos. It was a genius idea lol but I get how it can be a bit jarring especially from a member of BTS lol I just love that he has the freedom to do and make these artistic choices. It’s bold and beautiful.

He is a 26 year old man with sexuality that should come out in his work and well as privately. On Weverse he was hurt when a fan ask him why he used dirty langauge. Jk responded, "Why do you think this is dirty?" At the end, as she accepts him, the rain stops even if the storm still follows. You know? the "explicit" version doesn't shock me, maybe because he just use the f-word. For me is the explicit word and the cute smile... like sir, one or the other? I'm so happy to see someone has same thoughts as me. I like both versions but the explicit one is a little over the top. I think it might be aimed at US listeners more. It was made and written by American producers. I understand why JK wanted to do this song, it will really help to promote him as a performer and great singer, that he is. i think the thing that was most shocking for some people was that he directly went into it this time, and not the line itself because bts have always used references and innuendos in their songs. And there are two word differences between the 2 versions you may or may not have noticed. The clean version is "It's the way that WE can ride", the explicit version is "It's the way that YOU can ride " (enough said.)

I do prefer the clean version, i think it's cool he did the explicit one, but for me it just changes the vibe and meaning of the song too much. Obviously both versions are about phsyical/sexual intimacy, but the clean version is more sensual and actually has the focus on the intimate part. It can mean different things and can inocorporate all type of love - including physical, but not limited to that, it fits the mv better thinking of always being there for the person, you know? And for me "fucking" just has kind of an impersonal connotation, so it doesn't encompass all of that... but i still think it's awesome he did it and is breaking boundaries with it

I see it as you. I think the f-word was used too excessively. It feels forced. There are lots of sex songs that describe the actual act in better ways. The f-word is not sensual.
