Many years ago, there was a "Jitney Jungle " store in Pensacola, Florida...they had foods from all over the Latin American countries, good prices, good selection...this is one of the best videos I've seen for a long time. THANK YOU!!!
WoW....I have never heard of Jungle Jim. We do not have this store in Missouri. I could spend an entire morning or afternoon here. Plus lots of money 🤑 Thanks for sharing this Danno! Great video 👍💯
Good morning Danno, what a wonderful treat for a Saturday morning as I drink my coffee. Your narration is absolutely hysterical. You're correct if you're a tourist you can spend the whole day in this place. Truly a lot of eye candy for the foodie. I appreciate you taking me for a ride today and I wish I was hanging out with you. I can't begin to tell you how you brighten up my day thanks so much
Finally made it to my side of town. Glad you enjoyed the east side Jungle Jims. Interesting story about my dad he used to buy produce from Jungle Jim in Hamilton he used to sell produce and thats how he got his start and now look at him
Thank you for the tour of Jungle Jim's. I'm from Michigan, and I have never heard of this place. A visit there will be added to my list of potential trips. Have a great day❤
We love going there when we come in town from Northern California to visit family. I remember when that place was Biggs. They have a great Mexican food section.
This grocery store is…an experience 😮 I have never seen anything like it. What struck me immediately is the mass inventory of course, but then I wondered if the inventory is turned over quickly enough for the expiration dates🤔
I wish we had a store like that here, I would love to go and just hang out checking out the different things. Looks like a lot of fun. Displays are really well thought out. I love the wood.
❤❤❤ Too adorable ❤❤❤ Good Morning 🌅, Danno & Jeesica ! I love the Tony the Tiger display. Yum, Frosted Flakes outbofbthe box (no milk). 😋 Thank you for the tour. ❤❤❤ Have a blessedful weekend.
Welcome to the Eastside of town! I live close by Jungle Jims. The monorail is from Kings Island. The Eastgate location is larger than the Fairfield location. Both are pretty cool!!!
My brother's wife and family from Germany came to town and we told them we were going to Jungle Jim's. They weren't very sure about going to a grocery! store but after 5 hours there, they were absolutely floored....shoot we had dinner, we had beers and they had a goody bag of treats to take home..Loved it...Thanks for the video...do more from here LOL!
Danno. Lol.. that lady stomping grapes was lucille ball in one of her most famous and funny episodes where she was mashing grapes at a vineyard. Love your show. Keep up the good work.
As I have said before, my wife and I travel from Louisville to Cincinnati a couple times a year to go to Jungle Jims & CAM International Market. Since I was at the Eastgate location about a month ago, I knew exactly where you were all through your vid. I kept telling you where you are but you just would not hear me. 🤣🤣
Those Trappist jams/jellies/preserves are actually made by Trappist monks in Spencer, Massachusetts. I’d highly recommend them; they’re delicious….the jams, not the monks.
Reminds me a little of the Stew Leonard’s stores in NY and Connecticut. I think it is a nice outing if you have kids but time wise it is a stretch to justify. The Stew Leonard’s have a couple of hidden shortcuts but basically you are funneled / forced to follow the path from entrance to checkout. Too much for me. You do need a map just like a mini Disney but a grocery store. Just watching you go there wore me out! Lol Thanks Danno !
Yes...I live very close to Fairfield store....actually we just got a Birthday Cake ..there..Choc on Choc...my daughter bought it and says it is delicious...I dont go there often enough..just because it is HUGE but I really should ..I go by alot and the sales are always on signs and they have great deals
I love Brie Cheese too. I use your videos to price shop locally but I really enjoy the Jungle Jim’s & Ickes videos. I wish they had them in SW Florida….
That Lady stomping grapes for wine was Lucille Ball from a famous "I Love Lucy" episode from the 1950's. You need to do a Part 2 of this Jungle Jim's! It's HUGE!!
Good video! I think you might have missed some that made it seem smaller. Maybe you just couldn't cover it, but there's a cigar section and a huge kitchenwares section, a big olive bar section!
I can barely make it through Sam's. I would neverale it through Jungle Jim's. Lol very interesting store. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and God bless. 👍😃❤️🙏
So glad you did this video of the Eastgate Jungle Jim's 🎉 It's so different from Fairfield but I'm with you I like the Fairfield location better but maybe because I'm close to that one 😜 We've got friends from Pennsylvania that come down and they have to go see jungle Jim's every time they come down to visit us 😂 But to be honest you might want to avoid Jungle Jim's on the weekends because you will be packed in that grocery with hundreds of people just like a can sardines 😂
That theatre used to be at the Fairfield location. I live not far from the Fairfield one. Definitely bigger than Eastgate but I love both stores. I shop at mine weekly lol. Fairfield has a hot sauce spot too. It’s up past the seafood. Doesn’t have a plane though lol.
I am 5 minutes from Fairfield location. At one time, his outdoor market was briefly at the end of my street. I have a lot of stories which I won't share here. In the old days, Jim roller skated around the store. Oddly enough, many people in the area didn't know about Jungle Jim's. Then all of the sudden, everyone knew.
saw a reel and then decided to look at an entire video and was completely taken back but how big and fun this store is. sadly, i am way to far to visit.
we need a Jungle Jims here in Minneapolis that place looks awesome. I bet I could find what I want that’s imported foods there instead of running all over the place from store to store to find it all.
