Happy 4th of July - During my summer of 1971 (born and raised) in Prescott, Arizona a movie was made called "Junior Bonner". It's a summer I will forever remember as I was able to see watch many scenes from this movie being filmed, and was able to meet Steve McQueen, Robert Preston, Ida Lupino, Joe Don Baker and many, many more superstars.
My Parents took us to a benefit that summer and the celebrates of the movie attended and sat with us at our table. My father danced with Ida Lupino and received a 6-pack of Budweiser from Robert Preston that my parents saved for many years.
I put together, edited and added some effects to clips from the trailer in celebration of 4th of July, which was the timeframe the movie was made and title. Title song used I used for the trailer was performed Kevin Carson.
Happy 4th of July 2010.

I was in Prescott last November, and the Palce Saloon too. Prescott is a beautiful, beautiful place. I would love to live there.

There is a website that has information about movies that have been filmed in Yavapai county Arizona(Prescott and Prescott Valley area), a lot of the information is wrong. The info was furnished by a Thomas Slaback. If anyone knows him you may want to ask him to correct this info

Prescott and the actors would look a lot more beautiful with some decent picture quality! This is unwatchable. Love the song and hearing your memories about this fine film (Sam Peckinpah directed) shot in your hometown! Merry Christmas!
