Of all the Junior Golds I have done in the past, I can confidently say that you dont need low end balls. I brought my Hyroad Pearl every time and never used it. Stay away from the weaker symmetrical Pearls, and if you are speed dominant like me, stay away from the low RG-low dif balls like the IQ Tours. The arsenal in this video is a perfect guide for Junior Gold.
I’m going to Junior Gold and this is my final year in U15 boys before I move up with the “older kids” and my arsenal is the Extreme Envy which is going to be much ball for the over 42ft patterns that will help blend it. Next I got the Envy Tour which had been a VERY good smooth early floaty Asm Ball. Next the Purple Goat Reactive and the reason why I say Goat is because this ball I shot my second real 300 game in youth league. Then I have the Idol Cosmos and this ball I really like because it’s smooth and goes down long since its symmetric pearl but has a really good sharp hook like a go hockey stick motion for the medium patterns. Then I have my Xponent Solid and this ball is the ball that I can usually play straight with it and really does blends the lane out for me and could possibly work for the shorter patterns along with my purple reactive. Then just my plastic ball which I do need for my right side 10 pins and 6 pins. So what do you think would be the best ball to leave out?
IMO, I think you need to bring the Purple, Extreme, Cosmos, and plastic. For the Envy Tour and Cosmos, I'd lean toward the Envy Tour around 2000 grit because it'll be a great ball down from the Extreme
Thank you so much for the suggestions and I also forgot to mention but I also have another bowling ball that I really adore its motion on the lanes it is….. the OG Eternity not the PI that is pretty much the same to the Extreme Envy that I have.
Not a junior bowler. Just a regular league person. I've been debating between if I should take my stealth pearl or zen gold label for shiny symmetric slot. My weaker core ball from those is xponent pearl. Thoughts?
