Great interview. I have watched a lot of Brent Cook’s talks on RU-vid and in some cases live. I heard some new things that I hadn’t heard before. Thank you.
Interesting interview! Good point that I haven’t heard before regarding - we don’t need exploration for uranium, we have plenty of it. Makes me think I’ll stick to more developers/producers. And, yes Australia is very heavily regulated which normally feels annoying but can see benefit of maintaining some integrity in the markets…
"We do need new projects to come online, we don't need to find any new projects" was a light-bulb moment for me as well. However, the fact that a discovery is existent is doesn't mean it will go into production. So, there is still a chance for an explorer to find something that interesting that a major buys it and puts it in production before the other projects that were found before that go into production, if that makes sense.
@@ResourceTalks makes sense and good point. The reality for me anyway is I find it too hard to sell my positions to reshuffle anyway and at least I’m diversified enough to protect my capital between explorers, developers n producers…
Thanks, Eric. Do be careful, though. These are just talks and I don't really know who's who in the space yet so I might invite crooks from time to time as well.
Thank you, excellent interview. Very interesting that Energy Fuels UUUU is one of his most have miners. Uranium, REE and Vanadium - what a strong combo.
That was an interesting pick for me as well, as I would assume the company is almost always fully prices under the efficient market hypothesis as it's in the US, and hedge funds have access to it. But I don't know much, mostly guessing.
I bought UUUU a year and a half ago based on some kind of poker instinct after listening to the CEO giving an interview. He didn't sound like a salesman. He sounded like a need. Not trying to offend the man; it's just that I want to own a company run by a nerd versus a salesman. Being a nerd myself, I understand the difference between how nerds operate and how salesmen operate. Gimme nerds every time!
Very good interview, found engaging throughout and easy for a novice like myself to follow and understand When he mentions fission is this referring to FCU or FUU?
Thanks for a great interview. Interesting that Brent mentioned Uzbekistan as one of the top interesting countries. The same country that Jim Rogers mention he is investing in now. I wonder what companies they buy in Uzbekistan. Does anyone know?
Antonio - Awesome & rare interview from the expert.. As retail traders like me I don't know any technical so just make a guess and hope for a happy ending..The most important to be somewhat safe is to buy it at the lowest bottom.. Love to experience 4X or more profit like him..Learned a lot today...thank you
Brent also mentioned Scandinavia as a great place to search for companies. Does anyone here have a deeper insight into 'Copperstone resources' that operate in Sweden?
Antonio and Brent thank you both for this excellent discussion. Very informative. Plus I learned about Andrew Jackson's excellent Sprott RU-vid series Ore Deposits 101 which I started last night.
Yes. I grew up here. I sincerely doubt you would learn anything from me, though. I look dumb on screen, yet when infinitely smarter than I am in real life.
Just had a junior mining stock i own go down 46% on a $50 trade with 10 minutes left before the market closed (only trade of the day). This kind of thing happens all the time. The amount of manipulation in the juniors is much more prevalent than people realize.
I don't buy the manipulation narrative. Meaning, I don't think it influences people's long-term investing that much. There's manipulation in every market all of the time.
Hahaha, maybe. There is no shortage of uranium, he's not wrong. However, there is a production shortage and a price that's too low to "flood" the market at.
If you have interest in Vista Gold (VGZ). Can you give an interview with Frederick Earnest ~ CEO. It’s an Australian company, Northern Territory. Thx again Antonio
@@ResourceTalks Too many. Made rookie mistakes in beginning. I’ve learned it’s much better to own a lot of shares of a few stocks versus a few shares of a lot of stocks. I’m somewhere in the middle now.
@@ResourceTalks I said that yes, I had seen him perform live and that yes, he was a better dancer than the Ayatollah Khomeini (the Ayatollah's moondance wasn't great).
The people on these comments worshipping Brent Cook LMAO. He's a paid promoter and rest assured, his agenda does NOT benefit yours. This guy has been wrong so many times it's hard to comprehend how so many consider him an "expert". Just an old fool who loves the sound of his own voice.
I think Brent's (now Joe's) newsletter has a good deal of information. I don't have under-the-table documents that say he's paid by any of the companies, so I guess I'll have to take your word for it.
