I am slowly catching up on your vids, I love your brilliant ideas and creations you always make me laugh and cheer me up I am also a single mother and I know how hard it is to make ends meet but I love crafting more than anything, so when you make something out of something and you show your mistakes that is unusual keep making us laugh Julie you are brill I hope you are making a good living off youtube you deserve the moon.

Really enjoyed this video and it really showcased the postcards. You need a staple remover, they are cheap and available readily at most supermarkets and stationery shops.

I can’t believe I found another video that I haven’t watched!! This was a really good one, too! (All of yours are good!) This little folio is really clever & I’d like to make a few. I don’t have any Edith Holden, though, it’s way too expensive here. But I’ll come up with something! Probably botanical… I recently found a note I’d written with “Julie-isms” on it & I got a wonderful one tonight: “life’s too short for prototypes!” OMG, I’m still laughing over this one! You do come up with good ones! I think I want this one printed up for my desk, I never think I need a prototype, but 5 or 6 tries later, I’m sad that I’ve ruined so much good paper! I have always just looked at Pinterest on my phone & you only get 2 images to look at. Yesterday I happened to be on my iPad (a fairly recent purchase, monthly payments on my T-Mobile phone bill) & saw that you get a whole page of things to look at!! Boy, did I go down that rabbit hole! At any rate I was looking at botanical cards & tags & yours kept popping up! What I want to tell you is that I’ve always thought everything you make is wonderful, but in comparison to other people’s cards, yours really stand out! They have a very clean & professional look! I was really amazed that I could pick out yours!! I suspect you’re like everyone else & sometimes doubt yourself, but you shouldn’t! You are really good at what you do!! And so much fun,too! Love this!! I was just saying to Tania yesterday that I'm sure Edith would be more pleased that we are reinventing her work rather than abandoning it on a shelf or worse a dumpster! One day, I hope to get my hands on a book of hers....then I'll probably hoard it for a while...lol! They are tough to come by here in Canada!!

Well, you were totally right about watching the price of the Edith Holden postcards. They were $179 and change on Amazon! A woman from England mentioned a book from a charity shop for a pound. It was over $1000.00. I almost had a heart attack. Lol. I’m loving this idea. I was thinking about how those envelopes would look in black. My weird brain is wondering how I could do all the stamping with white embossing powder. I found a matte black embossing powder. I bet they make a white matte also. Shiny just doesn’t seem right to me in a journal. What do I know? I’m still working out what style I love. I really love your projects. I’m binge watching your videos. Lol. Hugs, treen 💕💕💕

I really like how you created the insert from two envelopes. The frames look fantastic with the stamping. I just love the way you put it all together. I hadn't heard of Edith Holden until I started junk journaling about a year ago. I've looked on the internet for a magazine, cards, or any thing else of hers, and the prices are out of my price range. Junk journals are made of inexpensive items (junk) that you have just sitting around. I didn't realize how much stuff I have that I can use. I rarely get rid of any thing which is why my home is cluttered. LOL

Well I’m not advanced enough to put one of these beauties together., but maybe someday. Thank you for sharing your talent.

I found two of these post card sets in a charity shop this week, there were a few missing but not many. Cheap as chips as well. I did end up taking the whole thing apart like you did after ripping the corner off one. They were built to never be used that’s for sure! 🤦🏻‍♀️ anyway thank you for the idea of how to use them. Have made some journaling cards for my EH journal but nice to have a little project to do when it’s complete.

Loved this junk journal insert!! I had difficulty hearing it but it was easy to watch.

No mate… it was a butterfly! Made me do my cinema laugh! And I’ve cut up a few Edith books.. before I knew the journal world and I would happily carry on cutting them up so more of the world gets to see the amazing art,, and not just have it stuck up on my shelf :-)

I love this!! I’ve just ordered the stamps and managed to find a pack of the postcards on eBay. Having just watched you struggle pulling them apart, I’m thinking maybe I need to allow quite a bit of extra time to do it myself. 😳 Ha ha! Thank you for sharing x
