When you pulled out the ribbon spools I thought they were dog bones, lol. The tags are super cut though.

Oh the botanical project sounds like such fun! I used to take botanical illustration many years ago. What is entailed/needed to join in? It sounds like a great opportunity!

@@Tania-Tatttytreasure Anyone can draw it is a skill that can be taught/learned. You seem to be quite the creative talent yourself! Please keep us posted as I look forward to learning more about next year's botanical project and how we can participate :)

I've never thought of it that way, I always thought it was a talent, hmmm maybe when the world is normal again I will look into art classes, thank you for putting the thought in my head. Thank you I've always been drawn to colour and positioning which is why I think I find collage quite easy.

@@Tania-Tatttytreasure My Botanical Illustration teacher is the person who actually taught me that. I took the class at the NY Botanical Garden in Bronx, NY. She used to say that it is a skill that anyone can learn, and it was true there were individuals who started out with quite little drawing skill in the beginning of her class and by the end of the class would have improved immensely. Of course, there are those exceptional artists who have natural-born talent but most of us have to work at it like any other skill. I am sure you'll be quite good at it. There are lots of online classes too. You may want to consider taking if you don't want to wait for normalcy to return. Just a thought. I am very much enjoying your collage videos on RU-vid, thank you! Very inspiring.

Yes I think art at school is you either have a bit of talent or you get left doing nothing my teacher used to give me a word search to do to keep me entertaned. I'm definitely drawn more to nature in junk Journals. Do you use your own art in your journals? Do I follow you on Instagram or anything I would love to see what you do

Maybe it would be a bit easier to cut the "pull" piece and the "secret paper" piece as 1 piece/1 whole.
