When I was a kid I couldn't believe that Brian Baker would play with these guys, because the only thing I listened to was punk and hardcore. Yeah, that was pretty stupid. This kicks ass all over the place...it's rock and roll! This is a great song, love it.
Kickin Ass over here in Phx Az Matt Peckham. Kickin A.S.S. all over the place. We just went to San Diego and Hollywood shows a few months ago. JUNKYARD RULES!!!!!
I'm 45, and junkyard has always been one of my favorite bands. Perfect bad ass Texas sleeze punk metal. Hasn't lost the energy. Keep rockin I'll see you at a show.
+Junkyard Will there be a full album in the near future? Hopefully you guys can find a way to do one full of tunes like this. Absolutely loved your debut album (as well as others). Hollywood and Simple Man were such perfect tunes....And Hands Off easily was one of the best ballads ever :)
Junkyard was by far one of my favorite bands in the early 90's. The first two albums were just brilliant. Everytime I hear that raw bluesy tone and Dave's voice.. it's like I'm automatically back to my high school years being punks.. :) Junkyard wrote a huge part of my life's soundtrack back then for sure. Love to see they got a new one and doing more shows lately.. Hope to catch'em live sometime. This sounds great, like they never missed a beat. Totally diggin' this
It is so refreshing to hear a new song from a band I have admired and loved for almost 30 years now, with todays new music, I know Junkyard will always be great!
Wow it's alive and still Rockin. In 89 I went through a really hard time. The songs and sound of David Roach made even that American life something I cold live through. HEY GUYS YOU ROCK STILL. Thanks for that and keep on keeping on
Awesome rock & roll i was 18 when I first heard simple man,Hollywood and all the time world I'm 49 now Great Rock and roll never dies Rab from Scotland
Your CDs have been in constant rotation for 25 years. We've kind of grown up together, and that's pretty cool. Great new song!! Thanks for all the jams and smiles all this time!
Please release Sixes, Sevens, and Nines again. I can literally get every album but my favorite. I have always loved the vocals but they have gotten even better over time picking up a bluesier, more soulful tone. Love that you guys are still around playing great metal.
I can't believe it's 2020 and I am just now finding this. Just ordered the CD on Amazon. I've been a fan since I first heard "All the time in the world" from Six, sevens, and nines. Still a rockin band. Wish kids nowadays could make music like this, but I think that time is gone. Life is diferent.
This song kicks ass! Junkyard are at the top of the list of bands I thought deserved to be huge but didn't quite get there. Sixes, Sevens and Niines is still one of my all time favorite albums! I hope you guys put out more new music soon.
the two greatest band's I ever saw and still rock too everyday is JUNKYARD AND RHINOBUCKET if i ever hit the lotto I'd pay them to play every month for the rest of my life. God dam they rock.
M3 finally woke up I see....nice! The NH show was on my calendar but it's a 2 hour drive from Western MA each way and I'm jammed up that next AM. Not so young anymore dammit. Thanks for the music and keeping it together for the fans.
Read an article about a new CD....Oh hell yeah...Saw these guys in 1989 @the Roxy in Atlanta,GA. They were playing with Dangerous Toys. That was one of the greatest shows I saw in the 80's.
Was wondering what happend to these guys, they rock, been listening to their stuff since the 80s, This sounds just like their old stuff, straight up Rock, drank a few beers to Simple Man,,mended a broken heart over Clean the Dirt, story of my 80s, Hands Off, Jack Daniels,,lolol, any chance of coming to Western Canada, thanks guys for all the great music and keeping it real, So miss the 80s, and fantastic bands like Junkyard, possibly the best band to come out of the 80s , They should have gotten more recognition for their contributions,,,
great show yesterday at the whisky. you guys sounded really awesome and David you're voice is still amazing as ever. i've been a fan since i first saw the Hollywood video when it came out. thank you...
Rode with Brenden Kerwick to see you guys at the cd release gig back in '89 and been a huge fan since. Still have you guys in rotation after all these years and awesome to see y'all are still able to give my ringing ears what they crave! Super tight!
You're goddamn still great! Glad to see you all alive and kicking'. Looks great, play great, sounds great - what else we need for hanging out with some beer and still with your music. Thank you, boyz!

Was searching for a different song. This one was on the the playlist. Clicked it on out curiosity. So glad I did that! Great tune!! Have to hear more! Can't wait to share. Sit around the kitchen table with my bf and have some drinks. We take turns playing songs. This one is definitely a new favorite. 🎶 Going to add this to my driving tunes!
Rock-N-Roll w/a punk rock pedigree.....amazing band......last of the mohicans!Loved them back in the day....love them now!!!!Give any band a run for the money.Still hungry....still got heart.....much respect!
wow just saw this...friggin killer .I have the first record and six sevens and nines.. Junkyard is a genuine article Would love to see the cats again...after 26 years..and better than ever
Im saddened I never heard of these guys back in the 80's, but damn glad I heard this one ....You Go Guys, what a killer tune! Going to be on heavy rotation when Im in the mood to annoy folks driving my muscle car around town with the windows down!
I didn't realise you guys were releasing a new album, I found some of my old Junkyard tapes yesterday and decided to see what you were up to - I am now counting down the days when I can hear more of your new stuff!
I posted this elsewhere on another Junkyard RU-vid vid..........but it bears repeating here. They sound just as good, just the same, exactly the same in fact, as they did in 1989. Find me another band that can say that. Take this song and any song from the debut album and ask someone the time difference and they wouldn't notice any. Great band, always enjoyed the tunes. Great to have you back in the saddle again.
This is on the new cd High Water coming out April 21 2017....you can here another song "Cut from the same cloth" on the cd as well at Acetate records!!! Give these guys the credit they deserve and buy it!!
Saw you guys in '89 headlining with the Black Crowes on their "Shake your moneymaker" tour in Providence, RI. I have seen hundreds of shows but that show sticks out in my mind. I was one of the lucky ones to see it. This kicks ass, keep rockin' men.
I saw these guys twice back in 1990 at The Channel in Boston. The first time (April Fools Day) they had the Black Crowes opening. 2nd time around it was with Little Caesar and Sweet Cheater. Junkyard kicked ass. To this day two of the best shows I've seen. Hoping they are able to make it back to Boston. The Channel is long gone but The Paradise would be a great venue.
I've LOVED this band since I first heard HOLLYWOOD on MTV back in the day and still listen to one of their albums at least once a week. I'm glad to see the band is back together and they hit us with two new kick ass songs!! Hope a full album is coming, I WILL BUY IT like I always do!! Love ya Junkyard!!
I first heard Junkyard when I was at Camp Lejeune. The girl at the record store was playing their first album. I remember it was Blooze. Then I heard Simple Man and Hollywood. The entire album rocked! I wish they got more airtime. People need to hear their music.
HOLY SHIIIIIT !!!!!!!!! THIS IS GREAT GREAT GREAT !!!!!! THANK YOU GUYS YOU ARE STILL AND ALWAYS A UNIQUE R'n'R UNSTOPABLE MONSTER !!!!!!!! AWESOME SHIT !!!!!!
