Largest Junkyard left in the United States 

This is a hoarder not a junk yard. Shame the person let all these classics rot.

You know you're older when you can remember seeing these exact types of cars on the road everyday.

At least this guy didn't scrap and drop any of these vehicles in a metal shredder. More classic vehicles to be restored. Whether a junk yard or a place for a hoarder, this place is priceless.

Watching these guys and some of the cars they can't identify...I realize....how old i am! Wonderful experience just walking through a junkyard like this. Great video.

It's crazy how someone can have so much and not willing to share with anyone else. They'll prefer for everything to turn to rust instead. of bringing someone's dream to life. With a car that they've been looking for for years. 😢😢 so sad

These junkyards have been sitting idle for many years it’s crazy that they are all closing up crushing all these cars especially when the younger generation today has a passion for these classic cars and bringing them all back to life again

I was picking my favorites as the video went. The GTX, the Coronet 440, the T/A. Then you showed the Apache wrecker, and I had to rethink everything.

14:15 a rare appearance by Felix The Cat, very popular American cartoon character back in the day. The charger was my favorite, seeing some numbers on it would of been cool.

Some say, to this day, Curt is still looking for his son.

If I had the time, tools, and money I’d pick out a few gems.

That X/19 was a Fiat…they had a one piece roof that came off like a vette and they were actually built on a frame and handled like go cart…really fun cars…

This just makes my cars are more rare and worth more than before.

If only those cars could talk. Lol I wish I could save some of those old mopars.

04:50: It`s a Fiat X 1/9 designed by Bertone. Very nice little sports cars with Targa Top, produced from 1973 until 1990!!!

Those rails on that pickup looks like old hospital bed side rails .

I could spend days at that place, just pack some lunch and have a good time looking at all the cool rides👍🇺🇲

This makes me sick. Evidently a car hoarder who started parking these vehicles sometime in late 60s early 70s. Over 100 acres is huge!

Im lucky to still have my 70 Torino . Looking for a hideaway headlight grille . Brother had a gremlin x and a 73 charger . Nextdoor neighbor had an opel manta ! Neighbor down the street had the old toronado . Sister had a 70 nova . Had a 76 F 100 and a 74 F350 . So many great memories . I absolutely love old junkyards ! Thanks for sharing !

I saw a real life "tow mater" from cars movie. Awesome.

With all these different tags on these cars and trucks this was a wrecker service storage yard that accumulated what the owners didn't claim or pick up. Or gave the vehicle up for the tow bill.

My favorite was the late 60 Olds Tornado. it was fun to see the old Datsun pickup too.

Actually had a Plymouth pickup in there. Crazy 🤪

That blue 73 Mazda REPU is crazy rare and desirable

Lots of 2 door Coupes. Rare today and many salvageable. So sad...

I can tell you more about these cars then I can cars on the road today.

There was a yard like this where I'm at in Michigan. The guy passed away and they sold it to a scrap yard company and it all got crushed. So many classics gone.

It's very peculiar, I have never seen a junkyard like that in person. I'm from California and all the junk yards with classic cars all the cars are in just fantastic shape no corrosion no pitting no rust. It's too bad a lot of those cars are there because they're getting destroyed from rust and corrosion you can't restore that. I don't think the cars are even worth anything in that condition. Not far outside of Palm Springs I know somebody that had three Dodge Chargers ine 69 and two 68s , only one had an engine and transmission.. but he sold all three of them for $50,000. Had just a fraction of that junkyard been here in California or Arizona, he's literally looking at millions of dollars. Instead they're rotting into the Earth. Shows you what life was like in America not so long ago cars were easily disposable after only 10 years, when I was young I picked up Dodge Chargers Camaros mustangs all in good shape all in good running condition for $3,000 or less. You can't do that now... That $3,000 is a monthly car payment with insurance

I know of two places in Vermont like this. Pretty cool to wander around there.

Awesome place i could spend days walking around it. Saw so many I'd like to pull out i lost track but the two 71/72 Charger's really should be saved in my opinion. Thanks for sharing

Favorite car was the Charger ( which was a 70) I wasn't sure until I saw the grill because the 69-70 taillights the same and the 69 is my dream car, someday 🤔

At 13:20 that's a 69 charger. The 68 has 2 round tail lights on each side. Correction: Watching again and I see that is a 70. That bar going horizontal through the grill is a 70 characteristic.

Craziest junkyard ever seen wow unreal sure would like get some of them square body Chevy out there

Seems like a private collection more than a junkyard, so many of those cars were completely intact with very valuable parts; which would have been stripped long ago if they were available. Favorite car? The '70 Charger has universal appeal, as do the other Mopar muscle cars. But I like anything old and cool, so it's an impossible choice.

there 1k-2k on that 70s charger grill there :) So even you "cant" get these out from there, still tons of useable/valuable parts.

The largest junkyard in the country is in Washington D.C.

Start from any of the outer edges of this car enthusiast playground by scrapping any late model cars and move the classics one at a time to another cleared location . Even without being there to actually see for myself , I have to believe they could be rescued ??

I know where a few hidden yards are that are similar to this but not quite as large and you have access to the cars

Considering the petina on that general lee...you might want to run the numbers on it or look it over better.. could possibly be a screen used dukes car

downside to any of those cars with the bottoms touching the ground, for sure have their floors rotted away, or worse frames deteriorated beyond repair.

That hilux has got to be worth a bunch!! Toyota only sold the hilux in the US until 1976. Ive never even seen any toyota pickup in person in my lifetime older than like 80 or 82

There used to be a place like that not too far from me. Nowhere near that big, but it was a treasure trove of older cars, and I found a fair bit of parts there over the years. Even bought a radiator hose once off a junk car to replace the one I'd blown on the way there! Unfortunately, the last time I went it'd been mostly cleaned out. Someone had bought it, discovered the yard owed money to all kinds of places, and had to crush everything to get enough pay the debts. (Or so the counterman said.)

They can all come out of there. All you gotta do is start with the first one in the way start making a road LOL awesome video not many places left in America like this anymore.

Someone needs to grab the glass out of those old Vista Cruisers. I liked the Apache Tow Truck and the 58 Ford 2 door wagon. I am guessing that the paint is probably holding that one together...
