Yo! Way to go Fred! Im working on Kswaping a 1975 1st gen 1500. Been stocking up on parts myself, but getting to the point ill be pulling the og engine / trans to start test fitting the k. Looking forward to seeing you wrenching on the 1200. Im also in Cali not far from you (Sacramento). If Freds taking too long and you want to feature mine, slide through! Lol. Love the content! My biggest issue I been to the pick n pulls for plastics for projects and people bust the tabs on most things. This time my last trip mostly every plastic part was broken. Tabs or pice ripped off. People here break stuff not knowing the how to remove it this is happening more and more with Yt certified mechanics.

I was getting ready to leave a pull a part one time and saw a 02 crv, I had to check it to be sure, and low and behold 5 speed awd. I dropped my tool box and ripped out the trans, rear end and driveshaft also got the intermediate shaft. I have been sitting on it for a couple years debating on what to swap. hauling that shit in a wheel barrow that tire was almost flat, I had a long trek I thought i was gonna croak struggling to push it. probably had 500 lbs or so.

Dam those junkyard prices are almost doubled in your state but the trade off is that at least those swaps are more easily available in your area, I haven't even seen a tsx in a junkyard here for months and come across them every often lol.
