@@deepor4952 I did. It IS good, but the Skyrush keyboard player gets it wrong in about 6 seconds and never recovers. He is in a completely different key than the guitarist (and the composition) several times.

He killed it! funny enough he is using ebow where I thought Guthrie didn't and doesn't use it where I believed Guthrie did. whatever he's playing it so good, hats of to this kid!

Guthrie’s live version of the song (imho) doesn’t even touch the recording. It’s his song he can do what he likes I guess. Plus live shows can’t and shouldn’t be perfect recreations of said recordings. With that being said, that kid knocked it out of the park. To the last detail good. Even pulled the string off the fret to get that extra sharp bend at the end. Damn near flawless.

I think that crowd had no idea - none - of what it was witnessing. An immaculate cover of an amazing song. You guys are inspiring. Thank you for the many hours of practice that lies behind this great performance. Drive Home is one of my favorite songs ever recorded and I never thought that a live version of it - including Stephen Wilson's own version in Chile that's on RU-vid - could touch me the way the original recording did. But you guys have done it. This is beautiful, beautiful art.

She had a touch too much cut-through for me. The original song is about the sadness of a tragic event and the slow recovery phase from grief and shock. Steven Wilson's voice is a lot mellower and 'lives out' the subject matter better IMO. This is still a very good version.

Brilliant cover. It's no wonder that bassist improvised a lot of this. That bassline has so many variations that it's hard to keep up with. That guitarist did a very impressive job with Guthrie Govan's amazing solo 👌🏻

Probably my favorite Steven Wilson song and was not expecting to be too impressed with this cover. However I enjoyed it so very much. You all are amazing. Made me appreciate this song even more. The female vocal was pure beauty and made the music sound so right.

Impressed by this flawless cover of this gem from SW catalog. Kudos for nailing Guthrie's solo. Drums, Keyboards, bass, singing... perfect. Hope these kids get the success they deserve. When I saw that pan shot of the crowd looking elsewhere I wanted to scream... "morons! you don't know what you're missing!"
