Yo i love this kid, the answers are so pure and genuine it doesnt matter what the actual answer is, this kid just wants to play hockey and wants to compete with the best, what more can you ask for lol
Chances are that you won't be reading this, but welcome to Montreal Juraj! Keep that attitude and intensity, and you will become beloved by the fans here.
So excited to watch this guy play! He will make a perfect match for the canadiens! This is only the beginning of ur journey slafkovsky! All us habs fans will support you no matter what! Cant wait! :) ❤🎉
@@jayus2033 Laine is egoistic af and everyone knows he plays hockey just for money and he doesnt deny it, Slafkovsky is humble, cheerful and plays ice hockey for pure passion. You couldnt have picked a bigger opposite of Slafkovsky than Laine.
Mr Slafsquatch (this is my favourite nickname ngl), I hope you know that us fans really want you to do well in Montreal. (Serge Savard has #18 retired)
No matter what happens? Calm down... I'm glad they picked him because i can see the appeal of having a 6'4 power forward who can play hockey next to Caufield. He could be the key to one of the most wicked lines in the NHL. That being said if he bust while Wright and Cooley start putting up numbers in the hundreds I'm gonna be livid.
Maybe I'm doing bad drugs, but that pic of him in the beginning with his arms folded - makes me think of Dolph Lundgren ! Looking forward to watching you play ! Hockey in Montreal is going to be fun again.
From what i read he is going to go to Poprad, Slovakia with all drafted Slovaks for autograph session for the fans in Slovakia not sure if i got the town right but from what i read, he is nonstop working, he is not having a break at all, after the autograph session he is either going to go on WJC U20 or to Montreal right after the autograph session, so no it seems Slaf is not gonna have a single break this year. But he said he is used to this because its part of his work morale, he is simply a hard worker.
People that say this have never seen either of those players play and talk. These 2 cant be more opposite of each other with both personality and play style.
@@auri5459 both played decently in mens shitty league and in juniors by their size only and slafkovsky played well in shitty olympic etc watever mm tournament against beerleaguers and everybody wows :D hes gonna be puljujärvi level bust in small and fast nhl
I don't care if this guy busts!!! I will take him over Shane Wright every day of the week. Even if Wright turns into Gretzky and Slaf busts. HE is most excited to play VS Matthews AND Toronto. I was expecting Ovechkin or something. His answer was worth the tank just for that!!!
Nah, his number is confirmed already, they posted on twitter that Wideman left him the number 20 since it was one of Slafs numbers he wore during the season, so Slafkovsky gonna wear number 20. From more and more rumors it seems Slaf might start the season in NHL.
Well Kent Hughes said that personality will be a huge factor of picking their player on draft. Just picking Slafkovsky proves that something was really wrong with Wrights personality.
@@robertlavigne9828 True, but if he knows about Serve Savard, I don't see how he could not know about our franchise leader in goals and assists, especially knowing how much his number was shown in the last months after he passed. And, you can call me an old folk but I'm 15 😆
You made big mistakes in some answers and even the ones asking. Psychologically there is a problem and it's not perfect. A missing of potential and for (playing) in the ice,for me. On this perfect doesn't mean strength only normality/neutrality. Well I'll explain something:au début il disait qu'il était descendant slovaque mais en réalité il est d'Ontario. Un slovaque, psychologiquement pourrait pas penser ou parler comme ça.
@@dobexx9352 The fans from here are not good fans, they're the worst a team or a civilian can have. It's not only this it's a "mentally sick" mentality."You can't get far with this". Robolaw.
@@dobexx9352 I forgot to mention that they believe that they have good fans cause they even't have partisans from very long time ago and cause they don't know what fans are. It's cause of the United-States.
Off topic but I need to say tbis so bad. Montreal you need to trade whoever it takes other than your core players and whatever draft picks it takes to go after Mathew Tkachuck with who you have now and adding him I swear goaltending allowing you will have a legit shot in the playoffs. IMO you get him and you win. PAAALEASE Montreal try and get him.
