Just when you thought Jurassic Africa was rich in diversity, the transition to the Cretaceous came along and the continent suddenly experienced an even more enormous boost of creature variety. Gigantic titanosaurs, massive semi-aquatic spinosaurs, a few standout pterosaurs, many different crocodilians of varying shapes and sizes - there was SO much prehistoric wildlife here to behold. Jurassic World Evolution 2 already has a fairly nice selection from here, but there’s always those fan favourites that still have yet to make the cut, so let’s take a look-see what we can still add as we continue our journey through the dinosaur world.

As far as my ranking goes of how likely all these creatures are: 1. Rugops *(9 / 10)* 2. Sarcosuchus *(8 / 10)* 3. Alanqa *(7 / 10)* 4. Kaprosuchus *(7 / 10)* 5. Afrovenator *(7 / 10)* 6. Deltadromeus *(6 / 10)* 7. Spicomellus *(5 / 10)* 8. Lurdusaurus *(5 / 10)* 9. Rebbachisaurus *(5 / 10)* 10. Paralititan *(5 / 10)* 11. Sigilmassasaurus *(4 / 10)* 12. Leptostomia *(4 / 10)* 13. Ajnabia *(4 / 10)* 14. Bahariasaurus *(4 / 10)* 15. Jobaria *(4 / 10)* 16. Stomatosuchus *(3 / 10)* 17. Aegyptosaurus *(3 / 10)* 18. Adratiklit *(2 / 10)* 19. Atlasaurus *(2 / 10)* *_REAL_* sorry about how long the wait for this one was, guys! Things were getting a bit crazy in my life with holidays, the loss of a family member and having to reset my iMac and getting nervous about downloading stuff while trying to avoid possibly getting viruses. Plus, I am just one person behind his computer making videos on his own and there’s a lotta projects I need to get made _(cough cough, Ninja Turtles casting video, cough cough),_ so it’s been quite crazy trying to work out which ones should take priority to work on. So yeah, really not sure when the Paleozoic video will be out, especially since I haven’t even prepared it yet like the others. I just decided that it was high time to do it after the Dunk got added in the Marine Pack. Plus, you guys have been asking for it since *_FOREVER,_* so why not?

Don’t worry! You will make Planet Zoo: Species Predictions. 9/10 will have a gong bang and 10/10 will have fireworks reused! Am I right?!!?

If Frontier did had any ideas to make a Paleozoic pack, the four creatures that I can say in alphabetical order are edaphosaurus, diplocaulus, inostrancevia, and scutosaurus

Roster criticism! (I like doing this so expect to see me popping up in your entire backlog) - Rebbachisaurus, the Humpback Sauropod! I like this one, it's name is a bit similar to mine. Unique animal too, even if it doesn't stand out that much compared to some other potential Sauropods, and adding a speculative fat hump is plausible enough that you can add it even to most "accuraccy-core" designs. It might be nice as a more active and large Nigersaurus, though, even if only Theropods and Hadrosaurus tend to get represented with such similar species in this game. - Sigilmassasaurus, which might just be Spinosaurus, could be a way to sneak in an "accuraccy-core" Spinosaurus. I guess that's fun enough, and it would be among the most unique animals in the roster if they did do that. - Ajnabia. Tiny Hadrosaur, what's not to love. Would be an alright, if a bit easy feeling, addition. Nipponosaurus does feel like it would be a more likely pick, though, especially if Evolution squares "Jurassic Park Japan" concept comes to fruition. - Atlasaurus is a pretty "offbrand Camarasaurus/Brachiosaurus" kinda Sauropod. Probably a nah. - Adratiklit would be the first new Stegosaur in a while. I feel like if they added a new Stegosaur at all, it would probably be Miragaia (for uniqueness), Dacentrurus (for size), or Lexovisaurus (for the iconic huge forward shoulder spikes look). Maaaaybe Hesperosaurus. But I doubt we'll get any anymore, considering how hated the first games Asian Stegosaur cluster was. - Spicomellus would be cool, especially since we don't have any African Ankylosaurs and it looks unique enough (a trait it shares with most other "Nodosaurs"). Would definitely be a niche appeal member of any pack it was part of, though, unless they made it really stupidly adorable or really stupidly spiky (neither of which I would mind, honestly) - Alanqa is probably loosing out to Hatzegopteryx, I fear, especially since that one is both from a currently less represented region and pretty highly requested. - Deltadromeus could be really cool, if they went with the giant herbivorous Noasaur take on it. And still pretty cool if it was just the giant Noasaur take. Any other take on it would probably feel too much like an offbrand Allosaurus though. - Paralititan has a cool name, and a somewhat unique build. I could see it being a side-dinosaur added in a pack headlined by something else. - (this is a joke at Aegyptosauruses expense, apologies if it is too soon) - Bahariasaurus, another mystery Theropod. Probably better to just give this slot to something where we know the vibes already, Bahariasaurus is more or less just the (as we now suspect) closely ish related Deltadromeus, but without the fun giant Noasaur reconstructions. Deltadromeus beats it in terms of design versatility, and Maip, Megaraptor and Aeroston beat it in terms of 'potential new Megaraptor rep'. - Rugops, a small Abelisaur with an easy name and a bit of a media footprint. Would be a lovely addition. - Afrovenator! Megalosaurus 2, probably not worth including. - Jobaria. Camarasaurus at home. - Lurdusaurus would be a great inclusion if semiaquatics were a thing, but as is, it's kinda wasted on this game. - Leptostomia is great, but again, probably wasted on this game. Too small for the general scale of everything, and I'm not sure they'd do its unique behavior justice (similar to quetz) - I do not understand why Kaprosuchus gets so much hype, but it is definitely a pretty interesting animal considering the lack of crocodilians in the current game. And as they'd probably portray it as a land crocodile, the lack of water for it to enjoy wouldn't even be a big deal! - Sarcosuchus feels like it might get its own rock platform if they added it, and it is big enough to swim alongside the lagoons and not feel dumb. Probably likely, even if I expect Deinosuchus might get priority (despite being a good bit less unique looking relative to the lagoon roster) - Laganosuchus, I mean Stomatosuchus, would be a great animal in any other zoo game, but here, it really doesn't fit. Needing to eat plankton and needing the lackluster lagoon platform system would leave it just being severely underwhelming. Overall opinions: I feel like many animals from this region have a shot at inclusion as part of a Herbivore or even Jurassic Pack, even if they'd feel like the oddball of the pack. Sarcosuchus is probably the most "This makes sense" animal in the lineup, and I wouldn't be surprised if we got it as part of some pack or other. Second place goes to Kaprosuchus, who feels like the most rapport having land animal in this line-up, both pop culture and Jurassic Park fan fame wise, and Rugops is a no-brainer pick for me I would not be surprised by but also not be surprised by being skipped over on. Paralititan, Rebacchisaurus, Spicomellus and Sigilmassasaurus feel like they might slip into an unrelated pack, the first three especially I could see slip into the often predicted Cretaceous Herbivore pack. Leptostomia is the single animal I least want in JWE2, just because I feel like if they'd included it, they'd utterly butcher it and give it none of the justice it deserved. Solid suggested lineup. Lurdusaurus in particular gave me the "Spinoff-idea" of a semiaquatics pack, coming with actually sensible semiaquatic mechanics (like an awkward ramp into the lagoons or a placeable swimming lake or whatever), which could feature Lurdusaurus, Sigilmassasaurus or Oxalaia as an Accuraccy-core Spinosaur, Halszkaraptor, and either Dolichosaurus or a crocodile (Sarcosuchus?). Spinosaurids, Ouranosaurus and Brachiosaurus, in turn, now require swimming enrichment because movie references; and maybe also Parasaurolophus in honor of the theme park ride. I dunno, minor thought, probably won't happen.

With Spinosaurus being the Nile Crocodile and Carcharodontosaurus being the Lion of the African dinosaurs in the game, their is a need for smaller carnivores as well, Deltadromeus could be the Cheetah, Afrovenator could be the Leopard and Rugops could be the Hyena.
