With just how long we’ve spent discussing which dinosaurs and other Mesozoic animals could be added to Jurassic World Evolution 2, I think it’s high time for us to take a trip EVEN FURTHER back in time to the Paleozoic era, especially with the surprise addition of Dunkleosteus last year. Whether it’s strange-looking marine arthropods, primitive armoured fish, toothy giant amphibians, the biggest bugs that ever lived or the synapsids who’d eventually give rise to the mammal family, there’s NO END to the strange variety to consider adding to a game like this. I mean, who DOESN’T want to make their own Carboniferous bug house like in Prehistoric Park, amirite? So yeah, let’s finally talk about this incredible age in Earth’s history and its bizarre beasts and see which of them Evolution 2 could still add.

As far as my ranking goes of how likely all these creatures are: 1. Inostrancevia / Gorgonops *(8 / 10)* 2. Arthropleura *(8 / 10)* 3. Meganeura *(7 / 10)* 4. Helicoprion *(7 / 10)* 5. Scutosaurus *(7 / 10)* 6. Cameroceras *(6 / 10)* 7. Pterygotus *(6 / 10)* 8. Prionosuchus *(6 / 10)* 9. Anomalocaris *(6 / 10)* 10. Edaphosaurus *(6 / 10)* 11. Diplocaulus *(5 / 10)* 12. Estemmenosuchus *(5 / 10)* 13. Ichthyostega *(5 / 10)* 14. Diictodon *(5 / 10)* 15. Secodontosaurus *(4 / 10)* 16. Edestus *(4 / 10)* 17. Hyneria *(4 / 10)* Again, *_REAL_* sorry about the long wait for this one, guys. My brain’s been pretty scrambled lately, dealing with a member of my family going in for some minor surgery, trying to be careful about downloading footage for videos without getting viruses on my Mac and overall feeling uncertain about my future right now. I’ve definitely got a lot to think about this year, that’s for sure. I will *_TRY_* to get the Madagascar and India video made as soon as I can, which does have a much smaller number of animals to cover, but I’m not making any promises just yet.

Honestly, I really like to have Diplocaulus in the roaster for more aquatic paleozoic creatures.

I actually want Edaphosaurus in either this game or the possible third game, since I want something that is basically a "plant-eating Dimetrodon" coexisting with the other herbivores in my game, and this makes Edaphosaurus a unique addition to the game. As such, I'm including this as 9/10. 😊

Did you make Jurassic World Evolution 2: Species Predictions Species - Cenozoic from the next month please?

Hey mate, great to see a new video for your Jurassic World Evolution 2: Species Prediction series out, this time on potential Paleozoic species, great creature choices by the way, my perosnal favourite on the list is Edaphosaurus because the Dimetrodon needs its herbivorous counterpart like Tyrannosaurus Rex needs Triceratops or Edmontosaurus. Can’t wait for the next video, also it looks like the next DLC for E2 is going to be a Prehistoric Flying Species Pack, so maybe Meganeura will finally get added, anyway great work as always my friend.

Thanks as always, man. Yeah, I felt it was high time to cover the Paleozoic era after the addition of Dunkleosteus, though the Cretaceous Africa episode won the poll when I asked, so that one came first. Yeah, the signs definitely seem to be pointing to a Flying DLC to accompany the Marine Pack. If I had to place my bets, I feel like Hatzegopteryx would be a lotta people’s first pick since it’s been in *_HIGH_* demand from players and is very popular from media like Prehistoric Planet. Plus, another azdarchid would be nice, even if it is basically Quetzalcoatlus 2.0. Rhamphorhynchus also strikes me as a likely inclusion, considering it’s also quite a popular pterosaur and we definitely need more of them from the Jurassic. And considering it was found in the game’s files along with Segisaurus, Austroraptor and Dilong, I actually think Microraptor might be a likely third pick - if not, then it could be Archaeopteryx or Anchiornis instead. What better pack to give the game its first flying dinosaur, right? And for the fourth pick… honestly, they could just throw anything in there. Meganeura, Pterodactylus, Darwinopterus, Thalassodromeus, Nyctosaurus, Coelurosauravus, Argentavis, there’s just *_SO_* many options they could go with. I hope the free update also gives us social interactions for the flying animals and adds other animations like walking on the ground. So my predictions right now are… Hatzegopteryx Microraptor, Archaeopteryx or Anchiornis Rhamphorhynchus And whatever happens for the fourth choice - I’m personally hoping it’s Meganeura.

@@awesomeproductions7755 yeah, I had a feeling it was only a matter of time before we got a Pterosaur or Prehistoric Flying Species Pack as well after the Prehistoric Marine Species Pack, and of all the Potential new Pterosaur Species they could add, Hatzegopteryx seems the first choice, not only is it a highly fan demanded species, but it will also most likely be the what I call the star species for the pack, that is the one species that causes the bulk of players to buy the pack, even if they don’t like the other species in it, which is unlikely but still possible, like what Yutyrannus was for the Feathered Species Pack or the Archelon was for the Prehistoric Marine Species and what the Microceratus will most likely be for the Cretaceous Herbivore Species Pack, also considering the naturally smaller sizes of flying creatures in the game, it will be nice to have another giant pterosaur to have alongside the Quetzcoatlus. The other two species will most likely be pterosaurs as well, with any of the species you mentioned above being viable choices, though as someone who still loves watching the original Walking With Dinosaurs in spite of how outdated it has become and who loves when species from that series get added, the Rhamphorhynchus would a great addition, if I had to pick one pterosaur I would personally choose though, it would have to be the Darwinopterus, if solely because of who it is named after in a game literally named after the theory he came up with. I expect that at least one species will either some species of Dino-Bird like Archaeopteryx, Microraptor or Anchiornis, as they are one of the few dinosaur groups that have yet to have any species in the game, still the Meganeura is also a very viable choice, especially since it would be the most thematically similar species to the Dunkleosteus from the Prehistoric Marine Species Pack. In the end, my four species picks would be these. 1. Hatzegopteryx 2. Darwinopterus or Rhanphorhynchus 3. Anchornis or Archaeopteryx 4. Meganerua Keep in mind, they could just make it a solely pterosaur DLC, but regardless we need at least one other species to feed on the Insectivore feeder, so I think at least one Dino-Bird or Meganeura is likely, anyway, great video again mate, looking forward to seeing how right or wrong we were about our DLC predictions when the packs trailer comes out, take care my friend.

I say Inostrancevia, Arthropleura, Meganeura, Helicoprion, Scutosaurus, Cameroceras, Pterygotus, Prionosuchus, Anomalocaris, Edaphosaurus, Diplocaulus, Estemmenosuchus & Ichthyostega will better officially appear in JWE3 & as for the other 5 species (Gorgonops, Diictodon, Secodontosaurus, Edestus & Hyneria), they will appear in a DLC after JWE3 gets released, right👍😉🦂🐙🦠🐠🪳🦎🐸🌌

The Paleozoic is filled with species, and everything here is gonna be unique and fresh, so that will colour my ratings of this prediction! Also hey, I see someone watched walking with monsters there :V Inostrancevia/Gorgonops, Scutosaurus, Prionosuchus, Estemmenosuchus and Pterygotus would be animals I would expect to maybe see in a dedicated Paleozoic DLC, with Pterygotus being the Dunkleosteus of sorts of such a pack. I would be satisfied with such a pack, though personally I'd prefer Estemmeno over the Gorgonopsid. Edaphosaurus and Diictodon are too similar to Dimetrodon and Lystrosaurus, in my opinion. Edaphosaurus could work if other Paleozoic animals were already added, though. Diictodon I really can not see working out, however, Lystrosaurus already has everything it could potentially deliver. Arthropleura, Meganeura, Cameroceras and Anomalocaris I could see as a designated invertebrate DLC, though Anomalocaris might be swapped out for something else (perhaps Pterygotus?) and I'd expect Parapurozia (probably mispelt lol) instead, as it is a mesozoic species. Arthropleura is the most well known "giant bug", and Meganeura is distinctly second place, while apparently also being a species from the novel (somehow). Anomalocaris is pretty small for the lagoons, Pterygotus, or another Eurypterid, might just be large enough, tho. Secodontosaurus is a bad pick, imo. Dimetrodon but semiaquatic, really illsuited to JWE2 as is. Would be a sensible pick in any other zoo game, though. Helicoprion, Edestus and Hyneria (in that order of descending likelihood) would make sense as "sidepieces" in a prehistoric fish DLC. I expect only one of the three (probably Helicoprion) would make it in, with Megalodon and Mesozoic animals taking the other slots. Megalodon is overrated trash in my opinion, but somehow its a pretty well-requested species. Diplocaulus and Ichthyostega are just too small. I really don't think they have any shot at all. Right now, my best hope for the paleozoic is them deciding to do a Prehistoric fish DLC (as mentioned), a Paleozoic DLC (as mentioned), a Synapsid DLC (Featuring Moschops/Tapinocephalus, the Gorgonopsid if it didn't get in yet, Edaphosaurus and Placerias), and a Prehistoric Invertebrate DLC. However, I am not sure the game would even survive long enough to gain that many DLCs, especially since they've only dripfed us the two most well-known Paleozoic animals so far (one against their will).

This was an awesome video with many amazing Paleozoic species addition ideas. By the way, one species from the Paleozoic that you didn’t add was the flying lizard like reptile from late Permian Madagascar called Coelurosauravus. I even have this idea of putting this creature in a prehistoric flying species pack. But how would you rank this species on the list. Also, speaking of Madagascar, we need more species from this island country, like Masiakasaurus, which I have in an idea for a Piscovore Dinosaur pack. Also, we need species from India too, like Rajasaurus, which is an abelisaurid that I believe needs to be put in the game. So, let me know what are your thoughts.

Oh yeah, Rex from Primeval! I honestly doubt we’ll get it despite its uniqueness, seeing as I don’t see a lotta people asking for it and its only franchise link is Jurassic World: Alive. So I’m saying 4 / 10. Interesting that it came from Madagascar, though… 😅
